MSG was into last night, great show. New album works really well live. I have a feeling it'll take on the Pretty Odd legacy in that it will have a lukewarm response in the moment but have it stans claiming it's under-rated in the future.
Gotta let the dust settle. In 2008-09 a lot of people were pretty "meh" on stuff like Pretty Odd and Folie a Deux and now both are considered fan-faves.
I’ve adored Pretty. Odd. since the day it was released. Easily my favorite Panic! record. I also am loving VLV when I initially thought it was a disaster.
Pretty. Odd. was a massive grower for me. The Beatles influences are uncanny but it definitely suited them well.
I'm glad I got to go see Panic last week in St. Paul. In case this album doesn't continue to do well and they disappear from the set list like Vices & Vitrues stuff did. So glad I got to see Panic in 2006 and 2011 too. It's crazy to think of both of those shows, I only heard TWO of those songs in the 20-song setlists in their most recent show.
My date is next week but I don’t expect them to come with Hurricane Ian looming over Florida this week. Just hoping for a reschedule instead of a cancellation.
I’m seeing him live right now and he’s playing the new album in full which is not ideal as I hate it. But the crowd is pretty into it and it’s WAY more packed than I thought it would be
As an album, it's just been "good" for me. But I also think this has some AAA panic songs. Don't Let The Light Go Out; God Killed R&R; Sugar Soaker; Sad Clown; Do It To Death. I keep coming back almost daily.
Yeah I just went to the tour tonight and the album playthrough completely worked for me, all of the songs sounded amazing
