Too Weird is definitely the album I go back to least. But I do still like it. It gave us This Is Gospel which alone means the album is worth it. That song punched me right in the gut the first time I heard it. Nicotine is also one of my favorite Panic! songs, and there's plenty of others I enjoy too.
Going to have to participate in this one... Pretty. Odd. A Fever You Can't Sweat Out Vices & Virtues Death of a Bachelor Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die!
I'm a casual fan of the band. Too Weird and DOAB bleed together for me. I legitimately thought This is Gospel was on DOAB. Whoops! Also don't remember much from Vices... might need to listen to the discog soon.
"Pretty Odd" has really grown on me more recently, and I think it's now my favorite album by the band. Ryan Ross is a super underrated songwriter, and I hope he returns to music someday.
Too Weird has some fantastic songs. The End of All Things, Casual Affair, Nicotine, Collar Full, This is Gospel, all better than most of the last album imo. I'm always surprised at the reaction to it. The only bad song is Ms Jackson.
Wow, I'm revisiting Collar Full because of this thread because I somehow had totally forgotten about it. What a great song, that's my favorite from TWTL for sure.
this is reminding me that it's the ten year anniversary of pretty. odd in... a few days that album deserved a huge critical moment it never got imo
Fever and V&V are the only two albums I like from this band. Just popping in to say this inspired me to listen to V&V again and it's still great, thanks!
If this album is half-V&V and half-DOAB influenced like I’m thinking it will be, I think it’s gonna end up being absolutely fantastic.
As far as lead singles go, I like Say Amen a heck of a lot better than I liked Victorious or Ms. Jackson so I have pretty high hopes for this album already.
my small towns gas station ran out of fuel, call that Panic At The Citgo! ok im sorry heres my rankings Vices Fever DOAB TWTL Pretty Odd they are all good
I'm normally all in on ranking albums, but I don't like to rank Panic!'s. I think they're just too different and I don't like the implication of putting ones low on the list.
