oh i forgot did you not like the last album? i enjoyed it even more on a revist yesterday. I think its my 3rd favorite overall
I thought that DoaB was a way better album than TWTLTRTD, personally, and I still really enjoy it, but if the rest of this record is as good as these songs it'll easily be better than both I think.
I still liked it and there were a few songs I loved like the title track, Golden Days and LA Devotee but overall it was definitely my least favourite Panic album.
But yeah I really like this band and find something to love in every album so I definitely didn't hate it.
Not loving Silver Lining as much as everyone else but Say Amen is fucking aces. Love how bombastic Urie has made Panic.
These songs are so much busier and have much more manic/fun energy than most of the stuff on DoAB. Instrumentally reminds me of Bruno's progression from Unorthodox Jukebox to 24k Magic
Damn, I just realized we still have to wait three more entire full months for this album. We've already got two songs, wouldn't be surprised to get another 3 or 4 before June 22.
I agree. It's really cool to hear him push an existing sound forward rather than completely reinvent the band again. I think this album could see Panic! finally settling into their signature sound. I'm not sure we're ever going to lose the broadway/Sinatra inspired version of Panic!, especially because it went over so well. In other words, welcome to the golden era of Panic! At the Disco folks.
I’m on the coast so it’s roughly the same distance. Honestly I’d be better off going to South Carolina if they happen to tour near Myrtle Beach
if only every song on that record was as good as "LA Devotee" makes great use of Urie's voice rather than overtly SHOWCASING it like a lot of the other songs attempt to imo
I don’t really listen to Too Weird much anymore, the only memorable songs for me are This Is Gospel and Collar Full
