OK the co-writes on this album are blowing my mind I knew about Morgan Kibby (M83, White Sea) as she worked with him on the last album and I think before. She co-wrote Fuck A Silver Lining, Hey Look Ma and The Overpass.... buuuuut check this... Michael Angelakos (Passion Pit) and Dillon Francis (big time DJ) also co-write Hey Look Ma JENNY OWEN YOUNGS co-wrote High Hopes. Amazing. And then Mike Viola for Dying in LA gooooooood shit, hitmaker Jake Sinclair co-wrote the whole album. ALSO I just learned he is married to Kate Miccuci. Just learning things left and right up in here
How long until @Jason Tate realizes he’s in the Panic thread and the Politics thread haha And yes I read the tweets for a while trying to make some connection
Sinclair being married to Kate Miccuci makes it slightly less random how Panic-crazy she's been on Instagram lately, I had no idea either
This album still rules, honestly think many of the catchiest P!ATD tracks ever are on here. Also, somewhat related but TWTL has grown on me a ton recently... I never spent as much time as I should’ve with that album when it came out. The End of All Things will imo probably always be P!ATD’s best closer, just such a gorgeous song.
I think TWTL is my second favorite of theirs behind Vices. I think the only smudge on that album is Miss Jackson and I think the back half is one of the strongest stretches in their Discog.
Fever > Odd > Vices > Weird > Bachelor Not sure where Wicked would fit yet but it's probably somewhere around Vices.
You think that's strange?! I haven't ranked Panic in forever, but if I had to it would be something like Too Weird Pretty Odd Fever Pray V&V Bachelor
I hate ranking Panic! cus I get something so different from each album, but it's probably: Fever>V&V>P.O.>PFTW>DOAB>TWTL,TRTD But really V&V, PO, and PFTW are all right by each other it just depends on my mood.
Yeah that interview regarding Pretty Odd definitely explains a lot haha. My ranking at the moment below: Fever > Bachelor > Pray > Vices > Odd > Weird
Panic is playing a lot of songs. They're apparently at 22 as I type this, and they still haven't played Emperor's, Say Amen, Sins, or Victorious. Edit: BoRhap is also in here too, damn. I have...mixed feelings about them still playing that because it's such a good cover but at the same time they've overplayed it. Panic! Updating (@panicupdating) | Twitter
