I wouldn't necessarily want them to go back to that, but I do wish I could've seen a Pretty Odd show. Seems like it was really cool.
That show was one of the best sets I ever saw from them but it was ruined by having an anxiety attack in the pit from horrible people threatening me and forcing me to get pulled out. That Killer Queen cover was soooooo gooooood.
I’m just going to grab cheap seats I’m not a fan of having a seat in the pit. If I’m going to be in the pit I don’t want an assigned seat. I love Panic so I’ll just settle for cheap seats.
The Eleanor Rigby & Killer Queen covers were fantastic. The Nothing Rhymes with Circus Tour was strange though, because they had blown up so fast and I really felt like as performers, they were trying to be over-extravagant and it felt a little awkward. Still a great time though. I too, remember having a lot of anxiety from all the pushing and shoving in that pit though. The Pretty. Odd. tour (Honda Civic leg especially) was awfully dull. To go from the Fever era to that was just underwhelming as a fan. I had more fun on the Rock Band Tour but... I'm just so glad this band did a 180 and went on to be so much more. Side note, I listened to A R I Z O N A for the first time yesterday and hot damn, what a fun album. I'm super excited for them.
I love Expectations. She’s also playing a headlining show here on the 17th that I had no clue about and is sold out so I might just buy overpriced stubhub tickets for that instead haha.
the vices and virtue tour was so fun, my show was on halloween and brendon was dressed up as jesus lol. patrick stump and foxy opened as well. 1200 cap venue
Saw them on the Circus tour in MA and they were terrible. Seemed to care more for the spectacle than the actual performance. I hated it, haha. Then saw them years later when they played with fun. at the HOB. Bought tickets on stubhub day of for $9. How times have changed.
i don't even remember that, haha. eventful show for me btw while i have you here are you going to be at sound garden tonight?
Vices & Virtues was a strange era too, because it seemed that album was huge, but they only came to Denver once and played a 1000 cap venue. They came to Denver four times on Too Weird to Live, three of which were arena/amphitheater shows.
The V&V tour was great because fun. opened and Nate came out to sing C'Mon and that's when I fell in love with fun. for the first time.
Brendon broke his ankle at my V&V show and continued to perform like a champ. Easily the best Panic! show I've been to.
The Eleanor Rigby cover was the best cover they've done as a band. It really matched the vibe of the AFYCSO era.
I remember that. I think the Cleveland date was the show after he broke it because I remember being nervous they were going to cancel it.
I have only seen them on the truckstops and statelines tour opening for TAI. I got my life. Met Ryan Ross afterwards (which is the worst pic ever taken of me that nobody let's me forget) and as we were driving from the venue we saw Brendon walking down the street and freaked out cause we were like 14 and annoying.
THAT TOUR WAS THE BEST. My show was on Valentine’s Day and it was just too much fun. Hellogoodbye blew my mind.
