Also, probably talking online about either Yu-Gi-Oh! or Jesus, maybe both. While also building a shitty Geocities website to upload some of my shitty art.
not a fan of this one at all. then again, the full length wasn't very good imo either. If they have a few more songs like the ones from the EP's, maybe I can come back around to them.
new song fucking rules thank god someone is giving us that ashlee simpson / michelle branch feeling cannot wait for this album
oh my god I didn't even see the album art was released when the first single came out, it's literally just Let Go lmao I love it
I've never been all that into these guys but oh my god these last two singles have been fire. I've been jamming Change for the past month, and I just listened to the new one and I might like it even more.
wow this is such an evolution from the last record. the debut was really tightly constructed but felt same-y, lots of early 1975 notes. these two songs have a really wide sonic palette in comparison and the production is a huge level up! I wonder if the radio can really sound like this again?
I went from thinking this band was very okay to eagerly awaiting this album. Talk about 2 incredible singles.
Definitely agree about the production note. It's like they made the jump from 2D to 3D. These songs pop.
Chorus saves the song for me, but I really don't think the direction they're heading in is one that is going to interest me that much.
I think this is the best of the bunch, but same. Nostalgia is there but I only want to TRL so much, every so often lol.
