Woof…that single was hard to get through. Loved the last album and thought the first was pretty good but not feeling this at all

    ooooof, yeah this ain't it.

such squandered potential within this group. they had a handful of excellent singles half a decade ago that i'm starting to think they will never top.

Their last album had some pretty decent bops on it

Another reason Jimmy Eat World is my favorite band, I'm obsessed with the 3 year album cycle. I'm really into Pale Waves & loved both albums, but this is way too soon

I really liked their 'Avril Lavigne / 00's' inspired last album but I'm not liking this new direction.

I’m not so concerned about the record as a whole since the first two had their share of lukewarm tracks imo. It’s easily my least-favourite lead single of theirs, though.

    I know you're strong.

Aw man, I really wanted to like this one.

Every new song I hear from this band feels like a regression, somehow. Composition, lyrics, presentation, it all feels...lacking. They don't seem to be maturing as songwriters, as they seem more content to simply lean on past trends.

They've shown they can write really good songs (and big singles), with great hooks, but now seem adrift in searching for a direction/sound, as new artists swoop in and better achieve what Pale Waves are aiming for, in a more authentic way.

Just a bit disappointing. I'd love for them to win me back on future releases.

Let's get these people moving faster!

I presume I'm the only person who thinks of Burial Waves when I see Pale Waves? I prefer the extended Kyle Durfey music universe.

I wanted to come back in here & say that regardless of how I feel about this I'm super stoked to see them for the first time at Riot Fest this year
