Wanted to really like this, but it doesn't grab me. It's not bad per se, just not what I expected with Matty and George attached.
As usual, Dirty Hit promises new music soon from Pale Waves in their latest newsletter. How is there not even a new single yet?! At least Heather is alluding to it coming soon. But then again, we've heard that for a while now. I'm struggling to fathom how Pale Waves can support one of the UK's biggest bands abroad and at home on such a huge tour with just one single out, and not a peep on an album. Dirty Hit really need to pull their finger out and focus on them I think. Pale Waves are bloody brilliant. Their BBC set was phenomenal and I regularly rewatch it.
