Pale Waves have released a video for “Television Romance.” The video was directed by Matthew Healy of The 1975.

The chorus of the song (at least the first half) is almost exactly the same as their first song.

 

I remember when I heard this song live when the opened for the 1975, I believe they opened with this song and thought it was the other song until they actually performed the other song.

Also, that singer ❤️

 

These two songs' choruses really are too close. Hoping for greater variety on their full-length record.

 

Yeah, when I saw them, all of their songs sounds wayyyy too similar.

 

A band this obsessed with The Cure has to have a bunch of weird experimental songs somewhere right? Hopefully a few more diverse sounding songs end up on the record

 

Really hoping that's not the case when they finally release a record...
