"Good Deeds" is one of my favourite songs of his now, I don't know why but I never properly appreciated it until the other day.

This video really resonates with me. It compliments the song perfectly.

I've never listened to this before. Is it all original songs or covers?

I think I'm alone on this but the Owen album I go back to the most is New Leaves

  10. have you guys listened to his covers album? it's actually really great, which isn't THAT surprising since it's Mike, but you know... haha

I didn't find it that great, mostly because I didn't know most of the originals. I really only enjoyed the Against Me! and Smoking Popes covers.

I dunno if I was being blind but I couldn't find a general Owen thread so sorry if this is a bit off topic. I recorded a spontaneous one-take cover of Everyone Feels Like You, which turned into a slight mash-up of Everyone Feels Like You and Think About It. Given that there's a few Owen fans here I thought I'd post it and see what you all think. :)

I’m just realizing I haven’t listened to Owen since the Kim Kardashian joke and I listened to a few songs just now and it was a w e so m e

Yeah, that whole Kardashian thing was a bit asinine from Mike, but definitely he has a talent for crafting some great acoustic songs. The Owen EP especially hits the spot for me.
