this record is unreal good!! jesus

 

On first listen I ended up enjoying the back half even more than the front half. Cant wait to play this more. Also @teebs41 you gotta play the live release speaking of unreal good. Many of those versions I prefer to the album versions at this point and it includes the amazing b side All I'll Ever know.

 

Even though they are a small band an OWEL bracket would be fun!

 

This is my favorite thing that's come out this year so far.

 

You heard new La Dispute that one is def up there for me as one of my favorite things i've heard so far this year

 

Yeah, I have, I really like it, but I fell off from it pretty hard, but I'll get back into it again. This just feels way quality to me, La Dispute didn't give me that feeling even when I first heard it.

 

First listen of this was insanely good

 

I’m excited to listen to this. Are they no longer on Equal Vision?

 

This record was far more immediate for me than La Dispute but both are great.

 

Really want to go to the show tonight, but it starts at 730 and I don't finish work till 9, it's also 40 min away. I'd imagine Owel would be on already by then. Anyone catch them live before?

 

If you can’t go tonight they are doing a record release show on 4/5 and will be playing a full set.

 

I would if it were closer, but that venue is a 4 hour drive away from me.

Finally got around to this, and god damn. This grabbed me much more immediately than their last one did

 

heavy dear hunter vibes on funeral and being human reads me of fair hill off the last no stranger album. trying to figure out my favorite song - think its either weather report, Roma white, a message, or maybe goodnight

 

Mine keeps changing which I think is a mark of a great album. I really into "Goodnight" at the moment.

 

goodnight is gorgeous as well, almost feels like a cut off the s/t

 

I'd never heard this band before a few days ago.

I'm definitely a fan.

Paris has a ton of great moments on it, which remind me in good ways of many other artists (Mew namely).

 

“Get Out Stay Out” might be the best thing this band has ever done

 

yeah the last couple of minutes of that tune are gorgeous.

 

this has been on all week for me. really blossoming

 

Saw this band opening for A Lot Like Birds on one of their (sadly) final tours and they ruled. Gonna check this out!

 

Woah, Weather Report is STUNNING. I can already tell this’ll be something special.
