the usual meta has been 2 support / 2 offense / 2 tanks. well recently a new play style being tried out in the pro scene is Lucio / Zenyatta / Ana and Zarya / Reinhardt / Winston/Roadhog. I did not expect 3 tank and 3 supports to actually be a thing.
Have not seen that yet. Just seeing alot more mercy in place of Zen. And mercy literally gets every potg now.
brb while I only play mercy for all the potg. but I'm glad that style hasn't transferred yet from pro to casual because if it does than it will suck so hard to counter it.
I don't know why he's complaining about this. Mercy needed to get back into the game somehow and she's done it. No matter what game mode you play, you always need to take out the healer(s) first anyway. Sure it can be pretty hard when they heal tanks and hide behind them, but that's why you have the offensive characters who can flank around the sides to try and pick them off. If their healer(s) is dead, chances are the rest of the team is not going to survive much longer if you still have your healer alive.
I was wondering how we were losing so badly and three of the other team's people had platinum rank and helping their friend in placement matches. Cooooooool.
Lol I thought they got rid of that feature? One of my work friends plays but he's like 1000 ranks higher than me so we can't duo up.
2 people just left my team on competitive and it's stupid that if I leave now I'm forced a loss. Welp make it 3 now so it's getting even worse.
finished up my competitive matches and I went 6-3-1 so I'm pretty happy about it. My rank is 2450 so I'm pretty stoked how close I am to platinum.
Started chipping away at my placement matches and I'm 4-0 to start, they weren't even remotely close - like the other team never even captured a point or pushed the payload past a point, absolutely pooping on everyone as Mei. She feels so good now
Played with some really dim randoms tonight. Still won most of the games but there was still some frustrating stuff like people being more concerned with kills or not dying so they hop off the point when they need to contest.
Lately I've been reminding people to not overextend or chase opponents. Just asking for trouble. The team component is even more palpable in season two.
I had one really good match yesterday and one where someone was inexplicably describing describing and explaining what each of the characters he was playing did. We did not win that one
