Played a team with 5 Junkrats last night and hated my life. Went Pharah and was doing ok but the rest of my team just kept running straight at the payload, getting trapped and instantly killed.

I hate hero stacking but just don't want to deal with competitive since I mainly play solo. Maybe I'll give it a shot in season 2.

 

After playing some more post-update, the D.Va buff feels super real. She went from a "fun sometimes" character to one of my immediate go-to heroes. Hoping they don't actually "nerf this" lol

Also, I typically hate playing support, but gave Ana a go for the first time last night and I really, really like her.

 

When I see two Soldiers, I pick Soldier and say "WE'RE ALL SOLDIERS NOW" and everyone else picks Soldier. Did the same thing with Tracer, "THE CAVALRY'S HERE."

 

Hero stacking ruins games for me, I just think it's dumb and frustrating. Try playing against three reinhardts and three bastions all sticking together by the payload. Impossible.

I like Ana but she's not really viable as a support by herself. Her sleep dart is hard to hit for me and her gun doesn't fire fast enough to heal team mates when they're up against high fire rate heroes like Soldier 76 and Reaper. Also her gun is less powerful than Widowmaker and Hanzo against enemies. She's average at both roles, but fun to play.

 

I'm watching a Esports tournament right now and they are doing the banning of stages. Just to start some conversation but what maps would some of you ban on competitve play if you could?

I think I'd probably ban Lijiang Tower on KOTH and Hollywood in payload.

 

But... your avatar is Lucio... environmental kills...

 

I've actually started to move away from support and focus on offensive characters.

In terms of who I play now it changed a lot:

My old picks were typically Reaper, Junkrat, Reinhardt, Roadhog, Lucio and Mercy.

My new picks usually are now Solider 76, Genji, Mccree, Junkrat, Zarya, Reinhardt, Lucio and Zenyatta.

 

Went 14-0 with D Va and had the most objective time. lol. I don't get this game some times.

 

I love soldier 76 , widowmaker, d va, mercy. P much the same lol

 

My last 100 or so games I used Junkrat, Winston, D.Va, Zenyatta, and Symmetra a lot. And Torb when I was feeling lazy and just wanted loot... I think I still have the highest overall playtime with Mercy and Lucio.

edit: and yeah that MCR one was my fav.
