It's so bizarre to me how people are whining about the Summer skins. I love the idea of limited items. They are purely cosmetic for pete's sake. I can see allowing them to be purchased with credits for the duration of the event but I really hope they don't bring them back again after the 22nd.

 

I think people just don't like the randomness of a limited item. Whoever had the idea of earning summer games currency that can be used for those skins has the right idea. Make it limited time but make it to where people can earn what they want instead of something completely random.

With that said, I have almost everything I want from it so I don't care too much haha

 

Is it the kind of thing where you're guaranteed one summer item per loot box? I've opened two so far and gotten at least one in both

 

I like that it's random though. So everyone's going to have different limited items. It just seems cool to me for some reason. But I also play more than one character so if I don't get a certain skin I won't be devastated.

 

Blizzgod Jeff said that they plan on bringing the Olympic skins back next summer.

 

Some people are unlucky enough to repetitively get voice lines and icons though, and never see a skin. It's moreso that that's a possibility, not as much that they may get a bunch of skins but not a specific one.

 

I've been getting unlucky with the three boxes that I have opened have all got me cool skins not from the summer part.

 

I got the Lucio hockey one yesterday, so I can't complain.

 

So you had five good games but your out for the rest of the season?

Got two legendary skin duplicates earlier. But I have both of Tracers summer skins now.

 

I went into competitve today and the amount of people who refuse to not use Ana for once is making me angry. I had silver as healing with Solider 76. That's not good.

 

Went up 3 levels today just to get one of those skins, and all I got was icons. Ugh.

 

I opened another box right now and I got two duplicate sprays, a icon and a victory pose. I'm getting sad now.

 

How is that not always the case though, Solider has an AOE Heal he should be silver outside of having a Roadhawg or 2+ healers on the team.

 

I should have mentioned that we also had a Lucio who was basically doing all the healing with 7,000.

The first round we had Ana, me and Lucio. She didn't switch at all until the last second to a Junkrat which made me upset.

Played a few games of QP yesterday, won the first one very easy... lost the rest. It made me upset as the first game I went 23-0 defending on Hanamura and won it it in an easy five minutes. But, we couldn't win the attacking side :( then it was just downhill from there.

However Lucioball is so much fun, I just wish he had a bit more speed to him sometimes, feels like it's a race to whoever can actually get the ball most of the time lol.

 

My brother in law got the game 2 days ago, is level 12 and has gotten 4 legendary skins and 3 purple items from loot crates.

What even is that? I'm level 30 and have only got 1.

 

Sorry for double post, not sure if anyone here would know since you're all mostly on console - I've just got a new hard drive and done a fresh install of Windows, and I can't get the BattleNet launcher to install.

The setup file is downloaded and I can open it and it goes on to open the BattleNet launcher, but the program doesn't actually install and I have to run the setup every time. Anyone know what's happening here?

 

Man, I played this game obsessively during open beta and I guess because of life/time/etc. have barely touched it since release. I'm level 8 and hopped on with a friend earlier this week, ended up in games with nothing but level 60+ players and have never felt so behind in my life, haha.

 

Is this easy mode
