I got POTM as Symmetra on my first competitive mode match post patch lol

 

I played around some with Ana. She's fun, but definitely not as useful on KOTH matches. Loving the D.Va buff a lot.

 

I was playing as Mercy and the Ana just gave me the nano boost. I can't stop laughing.

 

I had one boost me when I was out of my mecha. I laughed at the silly timing. Not like I just got shot out of my mecha, but like a long while. My first match was definitely my whole team starting out as Ana for fun, then quickly switching to keep the payload from moving.

 

I dreamed Ana would be Widowmaker with healing but I know that would too overpowered. I can't get a kill with Ana to save my life and Widowmaker is my main.

 

I'm playing her expecting to spend the time healing and taking some occasional shots at the enemy. Did get 9 kills my last round on defense in Hanamura though. Takes a while to get used to her.

 

I got accidentally boosted as Lucio, the guy flipped out it was hilarious

 

Anyone played D.Va post patch on console? Want to get some thoughts on her before I play later on

 

I was playing as her a good bit and it's awesome. The controls take a little getting used to with the new config (specifically, for me, I used to cancel her boost with L2 and now that just pulls up her shield and doesn't cancel the boost) and it takes a second to transition from shield to shooting, which I've never noticed before. Her ult feels really good and devastating if used well though. All in all a really good upgrade

 

Finally! I enjoyed D.Va in the beta and a couple of days when she came out but so many people could counter her so easy, especially when that shield went down. Glad to hear the ult has changed as well, always hated running away from it when I could easily be killing them as they were running away from my ult.

 

Been on an Overwatch hiatus for a bit, excited to jump back in this weekend. I'm helvetica44 on PSN should anyone wish to add me!

 

Also played a bit as Mercy last night and it feels so much better being able to move around while rezzing

 

D. Va changes sound awesome, can't wait to try those out later. Ana sounds interesting but idk, sniping is really tough for me in this game for some reason so prob won't get much use by me

 

Playing Ana is so frustrating because I try to shoot my teammates to heal them and other teammates keep walking into the line of fire and absorbing the shots instead. So many dead teammates that didn't have to die.

 

I don't know if I should be happy or not with the amount of people I started seeing actually use Zenyatta now. It used to be rare but now every game has one.

 

Had some good games tonight. Didn't really play Ana as we had one most games so it didn't bother me as much. Tried D.Va out and went 16-1 first game! The lack of Torbjorns I'm seeing is making me really happy and hopeful for this game. Went from 58-60 rank in competitive and had some really good games. No stacking is also such a good idea, no OP stacking!

 

somehow my team in competitive got a rank 41 in a group of 52-54 so of course he leaves and I get the penalty. I hate this.

 

they really need to fix that bug asap. I've won 2 games when a person leaves on our team and we only got a really small reward for it.

 

I have over 13,000 healing and 15 revives as Mercy and for some reason someone on my team in competitve decides to switch from D Va to Zenyatta. All we needed to do was hold them for 3 more minutes and we win but nope they change. We now have no tank and we proceed to lose and have to go into overtime.

I hope you are happy whoever you are for that boneheaded move.

Only played as Ana once, but we won. Her ult is so good. Need to get better at her sleep dart. I did manage to beam a soldier 76 in the face after he was coming out of the one fake houses in route 66.


What is up with the vs AI option in this game? I tried it around launch, and it was terribly laggy. Then yesterday I wanted to play as Ana with it knowing everyone would be her online, and I wanted to try her out. It searched for a game for 9 minutes. Then said it didn't have enough people and booted me....

 

The vs AI option is awful. Medium is still too easy, and nobody searches for Easy or Hard. They need to fix this. It was never a problem in Heroes of the Storm, but it's a massive problem in OW

 

Has anyone else noticed a difference in sleep times? I feel like I've seen some people hit with the sleep dart stay down for a good 4-5 seconds but other times they're only down for a second and get right back up
