Just had a string of losses, then an underwhelming loot box. Whelp. At least now I'm level 45 hahaha such noob so wow.

 

Started at lvl 44, dropped as low as 39 last week, now I'm at 49...so close to 50, so close.

 

So a really good ana rein combo is beyond deadly. On Dorado our opponent had that, pretty sure they team killed us more than once using that combo.

Basically if you see a glowing gold Reinhardt coming, it's already too late.

 

Yeah I started level 43 and now I'm up to 45 but also dropped pretty low. I saw that Jeff really regrets the way he implemented ranking saying that the number doesn't feel as good as it really is. He said something like if you're in the 60s you're really really good

 

Oh I wasn't talking about rank. I haven't touched competitive.

 

We lost yesterday against two anas/two reinhardts on Gibraltar defense lol ;-;

 

I was at 55 in comp but stopped playing once I ranked down to 54 and was tired of being owned by stacked teams. Since that's gone, I'll go back to it whenever I have a decent team to play with.

 

Ya the ranking and MMR system still feels a bit off. I mean, I'm prestigious and I've played games with guys triple prestigious but rank 44. Just doesn't make much sense.

 

two people on my team both choose Widowmaker on KOTH and they were stinking so they left.

Dude in competitive refuses to switch off Symmetra in both attack and defense and he sucks so bad. This is embarrassing.

 

He finally switched off Symmetra to Hanzo right when they won. I'm ready to grab my mic and yell at him.

 

How are people liking Ana so far?

 

I suck at snipers. Can't support if I can't aim.

Still too soon to tell. Even pure snipers will need to adapt once they're not accustomed to shooting their own. I've seen maybe two or three Ana'sso far really using her to the fullest. Similar to Reinhardt, she really needs the right team built around her. And for the moment, she can't do the healing alone, much like zenyatta.

Prestige only says how much you've played the game, not how good you are it.

 

Id say people who are high double prestige or triple prestige already have skill as well as time commitment. If I put double the time in I'd still be in the 250s

But I am confused on the Symmetra nerf to her turrets.

Mei's Ice Wall no longer breaks after a set time. You actually have to have the enemy team destroy it, or make a new one, to get it down, otherwise it literally stays forever. It cannot even be broken manually by pressing the button again like it used to be.

Additionally, by placing a wall, returning to the spawn room to switch to a different hero, then switching back to Mei, the player can place a second wall!

Blizzard has said they are "currently addressing" it.
