Played this game in my sleep last night for around 3 rounds. Don't think my teammates enjoyed that.

It's so common that it's to be expected. I assume we all go in predicting that you'll be asleep after a round or two most nights.

It's frustrating how predictable defenses are on Temple Of Anubis now. It's basically always 2 Torbjorns and a Reinhardt blocking them with a Mercy in the background. I know it's a strategy in competitve but it's so damn boring in quick play. It makes it worse when my teammates refuse to help counter it.

 

You're on console right? Because on PC you almost never see comps like the ones talked about on console. It might be because Torb is less OP on PC but still.

 

I don't get what makes torb less good on pc

 

I don't see it either but everyone says his turrets are much deadlier on console. He's still powerful as fuck on PC but I've only maybe once faced a team of 2+ Torbs.

 

How are they different? I really don't get that.

The difference is the turret has perfect aim meanwhile console doesn't have the luxury of having precision aim like PC. He also hasn't had a patch yet for console.

 

there was all that talk around end of june of Torb getting nerfed on console. Did it not happen?

 

They said it would come in the next big patch but they've been quiet on it since. People are hoping it will come in the Ana patch.

ok so I just played my 3rd straight competitive match where a Torbjorn just dominated us. 5th straight match where a Torbjorn was involved even though on PC he isn't reliable at all.

I'll expand on to why Torbjorn on console is broken. His turret is absurd in both damage and reaction time. You could be 30 feet away and peak out for a second and it will hit you no matter what.







It also doesn't help that you can't really flank the turret like Bastion. Bastion I can simply go around and kill him but the turret reaction time can kill you easier.

I already mentioned it but since PC has precision aim it's a lot easier for the Pharah or Widowmaker to snipe it but on console it is harder. Blizzard have said they are nerfing damage on console but that doesn't help with its reaction speed and absurd range. They need to balance him out to be just like Engineer in TF2 since that's a perfect turret/human.

2 D. Vas 1 Zarya 1 Torbjorn 1 Bastion 1 Pharah

We captured first objective easily but second we couldn't capture no matter what we did, got it to 1/3 and couldn't hold at all

 

i can't believe i had this in the draft, but i was pretty annoyed this week haha. i was going to say that blizzard have been shit about console patches. i hope they're able to catch up eventually and be more timely like SMITE has recently.

i feel like i'm just waiting for ana's release and season 2 at this point.

 

2 D.Vas is becoming popular. Little worried how much more popular it'll be once the buff is patched in.

 

It sucks because I love playing D. Va but once she gets buffed it's gonna be a favorite and I won't be able to stake my claim :(

 

watching Funhaus play and see Adam Kovic focus on killing mercy is basically me anytime I play competitve. @lightning13 undrrstands my pain because I always complain to her about no one killing the support.

I NEED YOU BACK because everyone stinks.

 

at least competitive will disallow hero stacking soon so only quick play will have that nonsense. just gotta make sure you got a good sniper on your team, and since Ana is coming soon and has a good kit (preventing enemies from being healed, sleep dart) that will be helpful

 

I don't know if anyone saw the Reddit post I made a few days ago where Jeff Kaplan said in a stream they might go back to hero stacking in competitve due to the demand and that made me sad.

I've been having so much fun in MOBAwatch that I don't want hero stacking back.

 

Yeah, same. I've been using her more often and was excited for the buff until this weekend when it seemed like every team I went against had to have 2 D.Vas.

@lightning13 Yeah. It'll be interesting to see how it goes. 2 D.Vas is merely annoying, not impossible to counter. I'm excited for Ana. Want to play as her already. :( Let's go Blizz.

 

right? i'm between 67-70% winrate with her in competitive and i feel all good about it but now it's like
