Had two great games that we unfortunately lost. One with lucio where I was dancing round the objective for 6 mins on Lijang tower in 5 rounds. Another with Zarya where I got 39 high energy eliminations out of 42 in 1 round, but couldn't push objective in Hollywood.

Won a huge game with Lucio last night going 30-9, ranked me up an entire level. I feel born again.

Also there's a thread on battle net where one of the devs says the issue with leavers negatively impacting the MMR of the match is fixed...followed by tons of posts saying "uh, no it's not". Oh blizzard.

 

Won three competitive matches last night. Went in by my lonesome, and surprisingly my teammates were good.

 

Good teammates are a blessing. Had a competitive game (last placement game) which we lost because team comp was just bleh. It was on Ilios and we played the well map and we had two roadhogs on our team. I thought that was good because the other team had a Pharah who was being a pain and I was playing as Lucio. Welp, the Roadhogs didn't help at all at taking her down and I just kept getting hit by the rockets.

By the end of the match we had a teammate leave and a Soldier who kept spamming the heal button because he was just being childish. Granted it wasn't my best Lucio game, but when teammates don't protect the healer, don't expect the heals.

tldr: good teammates are a blessing, team comp means everything

 

It probably is fixed though - you can't see your mmr. When a teammate leaves, you get the loss on your rank, but your mmr stays the same.

 

The irony of soldier asking for heals. He has healing and sprint. It's like, he's a solo, junior Lucio when you think about it.

Also I'm amazing at D Va, lol. my win rate is 57% in QP and 80% in competitive. 80% in competitive! Idk I'm happy with that.

 

He was so annoying. I get what you mean though, he's a mini lucio but more deadly lol.

 

New hero: Ana, support sniper

AHHH SHE'S SO GOOD I HAVE TO PLAY HER! i can't wait for her interactions with Pharah, Soldier and Reaper

 

Just played a competitive match where the opposing team was quite clearly using mics and they tore us a thousand new orifices. They took both our points inside 90 seconds and we got nowhere near theirs when it switched.

What a miserable experience. Still the golds for objective kills and time though.. as Lucio, because of course.

PC already having her meanwhile us console people have to wait is basically a common theme for me and the games I have to play.

I like the part where during the origin story people cared more about who were the other two people in the group pic rather than the big controversy of Widowmaker shooting Ana.

We are desperate for new heroes and clues.

 

Holy shit. Awesome. I guess it will be a different new character at comicon.

 

Never mind. They're saying soon, I don't know how soon. Eurogamer said today. @CobraKidJon

 

Not even gonna be mad about everyone using Ana. I can't wait to try her out.

Hopefully the next one is Doomfist!!
