Yesterday I was in a room with a few people who clearly were teamed up and also have spent way too much time playing. One was level 70 post-prestige and one was 80 post-prestige. They were always placed on the same team and annihilating everyone. It was insane.

 

Can't wait to play some more this weekend, I have this group of people (ranges from 2-8 of us) who play and we are wanting to get serious about playing it before we head into competitive. Should be interesting.

 

Oh, also have a kinda cool story I guess. We played the other day and had a couple of frustrating matches beforehand where we couldn't break a choke point and ended up losing. We got into this new game on Numbani and literally couldn't make it past the first couple of corners, and ended up ragequitting one by one as we had enough. Apparently three people we played against were in the top 100 OW players on Xbox according to my friend, which was really unfortunate but cool.

 

Played like absolute garbage last night. Went 2/7 I think:

 

So some of my koth matches last night I gained or lost more than ten percent... But there was no patch or anything

 

I decide to go wired for the day and holy shit this is amazing.

My first competitive match and I'm super excited and I get set with tracer anddddddd someone leaves in the first 15 seconds so the match was cancelled.

The 10-0 dream is dead for me. I went 3 straight but my last game was a disaster. I lead my team in eliminations, objective kills and objective time as a D VA. They refused to get anywhere near the point on KOTH in Illois.

 

what rank are you now? we need to team up for competitive from now on haha

 

I'm still on my fifth placement match right now so I got some time to go. I know. The dream could have been a reality but now it will always be a dream.

 

i can prob still play with you in placement tho. i saw some ranked players in placement last night

I was wondering how my team was getting destroyed this game and three of the guys on the other team were all around rank 60 and I was still playing placement matches.

Welp.

 

I wanted to make a comment on how I'm amazed at how no one has stacked Torbjorn in any of my games and in my final placement match the team stacks 3 Torbjorn on Kings Row and they dominated us.

I finished with a ranking of 50 so that's cool.

I'm taking a break from this game, at least over this weekend. I'm way too burned out from it. Yeah, I was excited for comp too, but it has way too many issues and good luck if you're playing alone. Placement matches were good times but after...nothing but bad luck.

I didn't mind getting stomped in quick play cause it could last, what, 3-5 mins? In rank however the horror can last 20 mins and makes me never want to play the game again.

Not going back to ranked until they change quite a few things. So frustrating.

 

Just downloaded the update a few minutes ago. I'm pretty excited to get it a shit, and hopefully do well like in Rocket League's season.

Also, I finally obtained enough money to get the Lionhardt skin.:D

 

Really? Awesome. Might have to start my placement matches tonight.

 

I've played 4 placement matches so far and 3 of them have been dropped due to someone leaving.

Gonna do my placement tonight as well. Probably gonna go terribly but oh well

 

And I thought I had it bad, damn that's rough. If you're still in placement, they should make it so the match just doesn't count at all...but then it could be easily abused. Ugh.
