Symmetra might not have the strongest damage wise, but it's one of the strongest imo in terms of how one-sided the match can become if the attackers are unable to destroy it.

Zarya is probably the strongest provided you coordinate with someone else, does almost nothing by itself but it's basically a guaranteed team kill if someone else uses their ult at the same time.

Aside from those, Lucio's and Mercy's can really change the momentum of the game if they get 3+ people with it.

the division and destiny are not anything like overwatch. they're both MMORPGs in a sense, one is first person and the other third person. leveling makes no difference in overwatch like it does in those games. and the only rewards you get in overwatch are cosmetic. furthermore, any additional content in overwatch is free, so people aren't split up by who has what expansion/DLC pack. Overwatch's open beta received more than the division's and destiny's. Blizzard always take what's popular and turn it up to 11. I think this game will be around for a long time.

 

The first tier of Destiny was actually a lot of fun. It was only when that weak reset expansion came out that the game tanked in my opinion. Anyway, OW is much more fast-paced and more forgiving than either of those games. Like Hearthstone, I suspect Overwatch will always be around.


Strongest ult has to be Zarya, simply because it takes the least amount of skill to completely wipe a team. At higher skill levels, Widow ult is probably the strongest.

I don't know if there is a "weakest" ult. Maybe Tracer since bomb doesn't even kill tanks. Maybe Winston since it's primarily a survivability ult, or Dva since it's a zoning ult. I dunno.

Imo I really think in the right hands DVa ult is complete devastation.

 

I always feel stupid when I die to dva ult. It's way too easy to avoid. Back in beta the explode time was a lot shorter and it was a lot better.

 

I think the time to detonation needs to be shortened just a hair and it'll be hell. Right now, everyone can make it to cover safely.

 

It's a lot like Mei's ult, area denial

 

Mei's ult is a lot easier to actually hit people with though.

 

Big fan of junks ultimate.

D va is good crowd control near point but everywhere else it's just eh.

 

So can someone run down the pros and cons of this game in a nutshell? I know nothing about it but three of my friends have told me to get it or at least rent it.

I am enjoying all of the D.va cosplays though.

I got 700 credits. so I bought two epic skins, ascendant for zenyatta and carbon fiber for genji

Battle net definitely went down earlier. Seemed to have happened a similar time last week

 

Watched a video of someone getting 111 elims as Zarya (massive OT and stuff) and all the comments were from PC people complaining about "How this wouldn't happen on PC!" and how it "doesn't count" Like Jeeeeesus, are PC players that insufferable normally? No hate to anyone who plays OW on PC because you guys are all chill here.

Ugh man, I'm glad that console isn't as toxic as PC is with this game. There needs to be a chat feature on console but I can see it becoming toxic very quickly.

 

honestly, other people's ineptitude is why I quit playing Overwatch for now. Unless I'm with friends it's an exercise in futility.

I mean, I am usually nice to people online but man Overwatch does make my blood boil!

 

Yup it went down around nine pm and again at one am Sunday night. Not sure why but I'm assuming it's "regular" server maintenance.

I'm gonna go out and say it but I haven't been able to discuss the skins discussion here at all haha. I got the scarecrow one for junk and all i want is the gundam one for Pharah.
