It's all so tiresome...

Nothing ever works on launch day anymore.

 

So none of my stuff carried over because it wasn’t linked to a battle net account on OW1? Fuck that completely, if that’s true then I am never playing OW2

 

I want to say that has to be a bug but the way Blizzard operates and how fucked OW2 is it wouldn't surprise me

 

I’m in now and it’s running smoothly

 

Feels good to be playing Overwatch again because I haven’t played in over a year but yeah…gonna need my stuff please

 

i can't even get in. Get "0 players ahead of you in que" and then a failure to log in

massive online gaming company can't be bothered to beef up servers on their launch day, blames ddos attacks lol

 

I got all my stuff by the looks of things. Hopefully they iron it out for you and a lot of the others reporting this.

I finally got in after 3 hours of repeat queuing (and playing Hearthstone on the side which I also hadn't played in 5 years). I decided to try out Bastion for a few rounds for the craic. Can't say I'll be looking to play him much. He has changed so much from the 2017 era! Sojourn absolutely melts through him too.

Felt good to be playing again. Although I'm going to pass on the Battle Pass. Had a look through and can't say it is worth £8-9 of my money. I find it hard to justify spending money on cosmetics directly and the Battle Pass just feels like I am paying for a bundle of 90 or so locked cosmetics I have little interest in.

I know the lootbox model is outdated, but I'm definitely going to miss working towards earning them and getting random cosmetics for my efforts.

 

My queue will get down to 20 players ahead, then jump up to 20,000….and then crash.

absolutely botched the launch, not surprised

Yeah I tried to play tonight with 3 of my mates. 1 of us got in out of 4 over the course of 30 minutes of queue/error loops.

Given they were new Overwatch players this hasn't left a good impression on them that the servers are still this screwed 24 hours after launch. Can imagine it is disillusioning a lot of other new players too.

 

I think I’ve spent 4-5 hours in the past 24 waiting in queues

 

Got a few games in last night before it crashed. Fun coming back to it after many months

 

was excited to play a game but it kept forcing the tutorial on me

 

Day 3, still haven't even made it to the main menu

 

and yet more streamers can love a good conspiracy

 

You getting errors still? I managed to get in over lunch (7 hours ago) and got 2 games in. Spent most of my lunch hour in the queue, but I at least didn't get an error when I finally got to the front of the queue.

I'm trying to get on again now, but been queuing for over 30 mins starting at 800 players ahead of me. Only at 400 players ahead of me now, so guess it'll be another 30 mins or so. If I get hit with an error I'm just giving up on the game for a few days.

 

Yeah, super long wait and when I got down to ~100 people in front of me it crashed. I give up

 

I think this week is a write-off. I'm going back to Hollow Knight. There's no queues in Hallownest.

 

I’m enjoying DPS now with there being only one tank. Takes a few games to get your bearings because everything feels so hectic now that there’s no shields to deal with

 

Also i only played one game of bastion but that was so much fun haha, the grenade is such a great little addition

 

I’m now a junker queen stan
