25+ minute queues to play Damage. SR of about 2300 too, so it's not like I'm Top 500 or anything and that's why its struggling. Blizzard really needs to fix the queuing system, that's beyond a joke.
Honestly, I haven't played Damage since the role queue came in, as the time it shows is > 10 minutes every time I check. Since I'm working from home now, I thought I'd just join the queue whilst working and see how long it takes. Did it all day yesterday and today so far, and every time it's been 15 minutes plus, and probably averages 20 minutes. What a stupid broken system. Even better when you finally join a game and someone leaves, kicking you back to the end of the queue again.
Yeah the role queue is why I honestly never play classic anymore and it totally destroyed comp for me I only play mystery hero or arcade modes now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I just recently got the game on PC to try and make the switch from Xbox, and it is so incredibly frustrating being bad at something I normally feel pretty good at. Hoping things will improve when my new mouse and keyboard show up.
I can't even fathom the idea of switching to console. My cousins crush me in FIFA all the time because I'm always asking wtf L3 is
It's unfortunate because the system is stacked against dps like this. As a healer main I love it, short queues and a lot of folks who are just dicking around on dps won't deal with the wait.
I agree to an extent. But I mean it just sucks not getting to play competitively with half the roster of hero's. And just the ability to change the game. I feel like if things are going badly when I'm a healer, there's little I can do to change the tide sometimes. It's those times where the ability to switch to a damage hero might help (have enough healing but needing to lock down a point so switching to Sym or something). I know what you mean though.
Role Queue was the lesser of two evils. You at least have some what of a recipe for success, as opposed to 5 insta-lock DPS teammates.
I play the game on and off but after the Fuel botched the situation with Decay (and OGE, and Rascal...) I think I’m done with OWL
