Yeah I bet it's a new tank. That lion design looks like Reinhardt's, so it may be someone he knows?

 

Now that I'm looking at the cup with the gear on it. She's an engineer like her Dad right. Haha. But it might just be her designs for the hero being released?

 

The rumour is that it's going to be Brigette, Torbs daughter. One of the pieces of lore posted over the last few days in the lead up was written by Torb. It basically said that on a mission in Turkey Reinhardt saved Torbs life (the incident which lost him his arm) and in return Torb let Rein name his unborn daughter (Brigette). Brigette then grew up idolising Rein, and so people are saying she could be a tank similar to him.

Parts of this add up when pieced along with the animated short released a few months ago.

 

Basically what was just said above. Glad @AFoolsGlory finished their post before I got too far into writing mine up, lol. :P

Signs point to it being Brigitte, especially as I guess some effed up tweet by the german OW account showed the image file name was hers.

But like rocket cat stuff, the file name in the tweet could all be a misdirect.

 

If the rumours are all true (big if), going to be a strange hero to play as I think. People are saying online that she'll almost be like a medieval warrior, with a mace and personal shield, whilst being a tank. Very excited to see what they've come up with mind.

 

I'm never spending money on overwatch again unless it's a cat with a jet pack

 

The one thing I know for sure about them is that Jeff said they’d be meta breaking which I’m very interested in

 

Mace and shield sounds like Johanna from Diablo/HOTS lol

 

I’m thinking a tanky defense character like Mei with some crazy AOE attacks or something

 

Finally got something. The new Genji legendary skin. I never use him, but whatever. Event wasn't a total waste of time, I guess.

 

I got the Mercy skin the other night which I was pretty hyped on - probably my favorite from the event, honestly. Ready to finish the event, though, so I can get back on to my quest for cat D.Va.
