Yeah. I'm already the kind of player who only comes back during events. This kind of crap makes me just not want to play anymore, like, at all. I shouldn't be spending hours and hours in this game only to open up box after box of just a single blue item. I could spend that time in any one of the games in my backlog.

 

for me i just enjoy the game and characters so much that not getting skins doesnt bother me too much although i totally get the frustration of not getting new event skins


i cant believe theyre rolling out so many hero changes. Roadhog can now move and heal plus he takes reduced damage, Junkrat has another bomb plus riptire buffs, Orisas shield is now much bigger plus increased fire rate, D.va has her new rockets plus she can shoot while using her boosters, and of course Mercy with the new revive and ult. Widowmaker also got her grapple hook cooldown reduced and enemies affected by her venom mine can be seen through walls.

 

The next couple of updates will be interesting as they decide what to actually roll out. Character changes + update to competitive + new map + deathmatch.

 

I think Junkertown will come last near the end of September since it's not on the PTR yet (at least I don't think it is). We should get everything else in the next week or two I would think

 

Ah. Didn't know it hadn't been dumped into PTR. Keeping up with all the recent character and game changes has been dizzying.

yeah thats the thing theyve rolled out SO MANY content changes in the span of like 3 weeks. i mean i love it and im happy about it but i hope they arent stretching themselves thin. but as yall said some of this stuff was just Gamescom announcements with some test play so it might be a ways off.

I tapped out of the game a few weeks ago and am waiting until the next season kicks off. Not too sure I'll be playing much from here on though. 1 year is a great run for an online game with me, but just need to set OW down and start working on the backlog.

Slime Rancher is my life right now. Think The Witcher 3 or Rise of the Tomb Raider will be next in line after that.

I've had decent success playing Reaper in FFA to earn my lootboxes. even won a match yesterday, shockingly.

 

Been enjoying FFA more than I expected. Didn't think I'd like it more than team dm.

 

so um. This happened. Coolest thing I've ever done in this game.

Its crazy how much more I love Junkrat now that he has two mines.

 

FFA is tons of fun. Loving it with the new junk. Just leave a mine trap by the most commonly used health pack and rack up the elims.

It cut off right before I killed Genji a second time and ended the game.

 

Getting a d.va tattoo tomorrow because that's where I'm at in life

 

Poor Genji still doesn't have a single legendary skin. And here I thought Blizzard loved giving us skins for heroes we never use.
