My team hates me for holding onto rez haha. Basically I'm not gonna solo rez unless it's a close game and we're losing the point/close to capping. It seems like a waste, especially if other people die quickly after. The girl who mains Mercy in our group will tell us to die if we're critical to try to avoid the latter. I just hate playing Mercy so much. Lucio and Zen are much less stressful.
I tell teammates the same but it rarely happens. I'll wait to draw out ults as much as I can too. It's just that I build rez up so fast with mercy I'm not anxious pulling the trigger. Also, more times than not enemy team will kill me before I can rez and it goes to waste anyway.
I'm willing to solo rez depending on the situation, e.g., do they have their ult and would it help us win a team fight?
Just need 1 arcade win for a lootbox and trying Lucioball makes me just hate everything. I either get put into a match where there's no chance of victory (about 3 in 4 games) or I get a thrower. Like holy fuck.
I don't understand why D.Va needed this. Defense Matrix: Energy drain increased by 2x. This means her effective uptime for this ability has been reduced by 50%. Boosters: D.Va can now use her Fusion Cannons while flying. New ability - Micro Missiles: D.Va launches a long salvo of small missiles that explode on impact, dealing damage in a small radius around them. This ability can be used while using her other abilities or firing her Fusion Cannons. The combination of these changes allow her to play more aggressively and deal more damage, at the cost of being able to Defense Matrix as often as before. Defense Matrix still remains an extremely powerful tool when timed correctly, but the reduced uptime means D.Va won't be able to use it nearly as often overall. Her new Micro Missiles ability in combination with her ability to fire while flying allow for some more aggressive play, as well as opening up some new options versus heroes such as Pharah. Overall the goal here is to reduce her reliance on Defense Matrix and make her more fun to play. As far as balancing goes, we want to nerf Defense Matrix as an ability, not D.Va as a hero.
ADC - Attack AP - Defense Tank - Tank Support - Support Jungle - ??? <=Doomfist, now D.va As if it wasn't hard enough filling all four roles each game, now some tanks aren't tanks and some attack aren't attack.
Not sure I'm a fan of this change, but I'll have to see how it works before I know for sure how impactful it is.
I love D.Va, she's one of my most played heroes, but I do agree that people rely on her defense matrix way too much. 50% is a huge chunk off though. What I'd really like them to do is make her ult explode faster. It's way too easy to escape.
But as a tank, shouldn't one be using it a lot? Helps keep the squishier players alive who can actually deal damage or heal. Can't do much to protect if they ruin her matrix.
Idk firing her cannons whilst thrusting seems way too op. Not to mention the new missles. Seems strange Blizz would do that
I always used dva more as an offense tank so this will be nice for me. Also supposedly a mercy buff coming and maybe a new healer????
Fucking hell. In a game at the minute where someone insta locked Mercy, and is only healing the Pharah. Literally just stands around waiting once the Pharah dies. She has only used her rez once in two rounds, and that was to single rez the Pharah.
