I hate lucioball because I am so so bad. Like, there's a way to hit the ball that I just don't know.

 

It's basically a poor man rocket league and I'm all about that.

 

Ok but like. If the ball is in the air do I have to jump to hit it? Half the time I can hit it from the ground the other half is a total whiff.

 

So can you get the summer games skins from last year in these loot boxes as well?

 

If it's in the air you basically ether got to time it perfectly when it comes close to the ground to launch it back or yeah be near a launch pad and jump up for it.

 

Really fucking hate doomfist. Just completely ruins the game for me. Like nothing Blizz has done to this game has really bothered me much, but that character, saps all the fun. Literally don't want to even play.

 

I don't encounter him much honestly, I feel his curve is too much for most people.

 

I encounter him in every. fucking. comp match. He is just too OP. OW was a game I'd love to play almost every minute, but since his introduction to comp, I just don't want to fucking play anymore. I'll get the urge and then realize I'd almost rather just not do anything, haha.

Like he one-shots me, a healer main, every time no matter how little charge. And it's like impossible to miss, apparently. I'll get destroyeed and I'm not even in a position where he should have been able to hit me.

 

I haven't touched comp much so maybe that's why

 

I also see him a lot in QP, but not as much and I don't really mind there. It just bums me out how cranky I get playing now. Even the last Bastion buff wasn't that annoying. Bastion I can always avoid. But Doomfist, he just finds me. Behind walls, other players, around corners.

Gotta love getting them last second equalisers and winning the game in OT. Also teammates, if you see I'm in goal pls don't all cluster around me.

Few times I almost conceded a goal bc when I try to boop ball it'd come straight off teammate like ugh no

Just played a few before work but on way to work now, will be on about 6pm GMT though

 

I've played (and lost) like 6 games of Lucioball and have only scored one goal. How do you git gud?

Also, this feels damn slow in comparison to what I was expecting. I was kinda expecting Rocket League with Lucio instead of cars, but I feel like I'm crawling everywhere and it is a snail race to the ball each kick off. Just makes me wanna play Rocket League instead

 

It does feel a bit slower than last year iirc but still a ton of fun, the jump pads do get you places quicker as well as gliding on the glass. Best advice is just learning when to hit the ball correctly and when to save your boop. Always aim just above the ball when you're about to hit it when on the floor, when you're in the air just hit it at the middle when it comes towards you bc you're meeting it halfway most of the time anyway so no need to get big height on it.
