I was but this is absurd it's not like I got carried every game or anything. And likewise if I just lost a bunch shouldn't that balance it? Just so dumb.

 

Maybe these losses you struggled, statistically speaking? You also lose more or gain less if you don't do as well to others at the same SR. I believe.

I mean, yeah you lost a lot more than I would ever expect. So being too high (with MMR not caught up) or playing poorly can hurt. Otherwise, I dunno.

 

Playing random hero. Got Hanzo three times and got POTG every time. lol

 

Think I'm going to take a break from this game. This season of comp and doomfist has just sapped a lot of my enjoyment from this game. I'll get the urge to play and the. After a minute realize why it annoys me now and log off.

Sigh.

 

tbh that's the same way with me with this and smite.

I think splatoon just ruined these games for me because of how much more causal fun I am having in it.

 

I wish I could enjoy splatoon more than I do. Love that game, but every match is just so uneven. One side always rolls the other and I don't enjoy that.

 

Doomfist has significantly shaken up comp for me to take a break from it. Not sure why blizz couldn't hold him off to next season, it's kind of super annoying.

 

Yeah. While I really don't enjoy playing against doomfist in the slightest, every comp game has to have one on either side and mine is always quite bad. But my recent comp games are just a thrower every game. It's weird and super shitty. :/

 

I was about to mention how Smite does this thing where new gods can't be played in competitive until the next new god is released.

but if we did that for overwatch. Doomfist wouldn't be played for like a year.

 

I'd be ok with that.

 

I'm done with this season too. I had a 1W/5L session so I've undone a week of effort in one session in that quest for platinum. The SR gains are so small at the moment that it feels like such a grind to get back the SR lost in a session like that.

Competitive Lucioball tomorrow though so that should be a fun break off of competitive!

 

I'm curious how that will go.

For the moment, if I play, I'll just do silly custom games or QP/Arcade with friends. I still find a lot of enjoyment out of that.
