holy shit zarya is insane now if no one can get out of the ultimate

but Reinhardt buff is still eh

 

That Hammer speed is a nice buff imo

 

Just saw on twitter someone mention that there was an Overwatch League commercial during the ESPYs last night. That's pretty cool

 

I found out today that one of the managers at the Fresno branch of my store is a overwatch fan.

I was like "oh yeah I reached SR rank of right around 2800 so not bad"

He was like "oh that's dope I've got around to 3700 SR"

I wanted to cry and drive home listening to like brand new or something like that.

Well this weekend was fun!

I've been enjoying a really great run of games since running Winston / Lucio as my "mains" and was on course for a promotion to Platinum (FINALLY!). I started out at 2455 on Friday night and stuck a beer in the freezer thinking :- "I got this. In 2 games I'll pop that beer and celebrate!"

Ha.

I won 2 games in a row and then found myself land at 2499. I thought "That's pretty typical. Better move that beer from the freezer to the fridge in case it blows." I logged onto the next game on Watchpoint Gibraltar and excitedly informed my team mates I was 1 point away from promotion.

That was a dumb move.

The only guy on team chat decides to make it his mission for me to prove myself to be worthy to be platinum. He tells me that there are enough shit players up in platinum so tells me he won't be trying and that he'd like to see me carry the game... As Winston...

I joked with the guy as much as I could to keep it light, but ultimately we got steamrolled on defence with only 5 v 6.

I then proceeded to then go on a losing streak and spent the rest of the weekend bouncing between 2350 and 2450.

That beer is still in the fridge :(

People are MEAN.

 

Went 13-1-1 last night and got a career high SR. Sitting at 2419 right now and nervous to play any more tonight haha.

 

Jesus Christ. Those horror stories of plat are so true.

 

Man, I'm on a streak at the minute where I lose 2 for every game I win. Can't catch a break, fucks sake.

Worst part is you can't really go cool off in qp or anything either. Get stuck with a pro genji yelling about not getting heals.
