I imagine the next hero will be Defense, whenever we get that new one. Man, people are already salty about him. Like people complained like crazy when Orisa was revealed and it wasn't him, but now he shows up and people are mad about it? Fuck the community.

 

Already on the PTR, can't wait to try him when I get home.

 

I feel dumb but does he have 4 abilities or is it 3 abilities with an alternative fire?

Not only did his reveal get me hyped, but seeing him fuck Genji up did too!!!

 

Looks to me like either:
3 abilities, an ult, and a passive
or
2 abilities, alt fire, ult, passive

 

I think the former, as some of these abilities seem too disruptive to just be alt fire

 

yep 3 abilities, alt fire, ult, and the shield thing is a passive

 

Weird how 3 of the new characters have 3 abilties but everyone else has 2

 

Does Doomfist's ult have a timer? If not that could be so overpowered

hes an odd character but really fun. hes definitely a good choice to break through a line of defense. his alt fire charge up is fast and it does so much damage combined with his uppercut and his smash it feels like youre playing a beat-em-up style game within Overwatch since you can combo those abilities together.

 

idk if ive ever seen a game release the COUNTERS to a new hero before the actual HERO gets released. Sombra and Orisa make even more sense as Doomfist counters, hes a sitting duck without his abilities so Sombras hack is brutal to him and Orisa can keep him at bay and peel him off allies/herself while shredding him down with her gun. this is all very exciting getting a new hero is great

cant wait to see what his skins and voice lines are going to be

oh god the memories. pushing bot with my ADC as Support and then BAM a god damn pantheon is now here

 

for those of you that dont have access to the PTR or havent tried it yet i cant fully articulate just how fun Doomfist is. its like they took Ryu from SF and made him an OW character.

 

His leap punch, to uppercut, to charge punch combo is absolutely insane.

 

and its so fun. hes just fun. idc about how he ends up meta wise or anything right now. hes just a blast

 

Watched some clips of doomfist last night. It might be premature but unlike sombra and orisa, this hero is gonna change how the game is approached. This is the hero for reinhart mains looking to actually have some fun. I can't wait to try him out.

It's literally throwing a street fighter character into an fps. So cool.

 

He's got Shoryuken, Falcon Punch, and Blankas slam. They chain together beautifully.

 

His left hand shooting spikes made me think of Vega too haha.

Also how funny is it that he does have a melee attack with his left hand. Silly Jeff.

 

yeah its weird that his left hand is his melee but i guess the idea is since its "quick melee" hes faster with his left hand
