Omg, over the past week or so I've been mainly playing Arcade with the odd Competitive game thrown in. I haven't lost a competitive game the whole time, thats like 10 games or something. On a fucking role haha!

 

Changes to highlights and duplicates in loot boxes coming soon. Also whatever Jeff is wearing in that video I need it.

But how does that help the hypothetical guy who got five duplicates of an event skin he didn't want? Or the guy who has multiple legendary skins for a character he never uses?

Don't get me wrong, it's a great change going forward and I might even start playing again once it goes live, it just doesn't do anything to alleviate the previous frustration of unproductive grinding/purchasing. I didn't play the anniversary event at all after the first week. I still think the best thing would be the ability to exchange unwanted skins for currency and making event skins unlockable.

 

That's nice, how about a new hero?

Haven't played much competitive lately, but my Winston has felt on fire lately in QP. The other day I played 5 or 6 rounds and got 3 play of the games from it.

Excited for today's news. Hopefully new hero related, but I'll get excited no matter what it is lol

Well after the Sombra ARG fiasco they appeared to have realized they let it drag on too long. I do worry we might have a while to wait since they did just drop a new map.

 

Got back up into diamond today. It was fun, but there were definitely some weird games. Had one match yesterday where I somehow managed to never die. I was soloqueuing and the other team was just unable to come together. Felt like a QP match.

New goal: get enough points for a 3rd golden gun by season's end. Not sure I'll be able to, but worth a try.

 

So that thing d va voice actress teased never came out on Friday?

 

I think she released like a video of her at BlizzHQ or something. It makes sense in retrospect since Blizz themselves didn't tease anything haha

 

I know the Sombra ARG was a "fiasco" because it went on too long, but she's still one of the best heroes in the game.

im down for a Doomfist ARG i just dont want countdowns that lead to nothing and get dragged on for months haha. but yeah otherwise lets do it especially if itll flesh out Doomfists backstory since his story seems to be pretty important as far as the OW lore goes
