Finally made it back to platinum where I belong, was on 2380 and 3 wins later puts me back to 2500, so happy

 

I was around 2450 then went on a four game long streak. So close!

 

Decided to play a little comp today to take advantage of the last day of double XP. Went 3-2 and well on my way to returning to diamond after not really bothering much last season and letting my rank sink. QP was also much better today.

Going to take a few days break now and return to Horizon.

 

I only leveled up like 5 times because I hated playing

I suck

 

I went up I'd say like 15 levels or so, not as much as I'd have wanted but I was enthralled with Witcher 3 for like 10-12 hours this weekend haha.

@CobraKidJon we still need to play a couple of games together, have to get you into the beloved platinum!

 

Bought the 20 dollar loot box package. 3 legendaries....wtf? I had enough coin to buy the solider one which is the one I wanted. Only one I didn't get was Genji, but I have the blackwatch one that I enjoy. Solider I had nothing really, and dislike all of his upper tier skins.

 

I LOVE that DVA's cruiser skin comes with the voice line: I'M CRUISIN FOR A BRUISIN

 

Got all of them except the Zarya one :/ maybe I'll get it later today

 

I'm mostly like going to only end up getting d va and buying lucio.

 

I got Tracer's in a loot box and ended up buying Symmetra's. I think those were the only two I got despite playing a lot over the past few weeks. Pretty disappointing

 

I have Tracer, Hanzo, Soldier, Zarya, Sym.

I'm generally happy with it, though I had to spend 20 bucks just to get those.

 

I don't get why we can't buy skins post event with coins. I get not having them appear in loot boxes, but if I save enough coin I should be able to get it whenever I want.

 

I got Tracer, Lucio, Genji, and Mei in loot boxes and bought DVA's. I think Tracer's was the only one I got out of the $20 of boxes I bought. Really want Symmetra's but I'm not doling out any more cash.

 

I still really hope Blizzard actually look into implementing a better way for loot boxes because a double xp weekend doesn't make up for it.

 

Yeah, double XP did nothing for me. All the goodies I got were from buying the loot boxes.

 

I was lucky and got D.Va's skin the first day of the event. Went up about 30 lvls from double xp tho. Gonna grind a little more tonight before it ends.

 

I got Tracer's skin twice, Mei's skin twice, and Lucio's. I was hoping for at least Dva's, but that's not going to happen at this point.

 

I got all the skins besides Soldier's, which I didn't want anyway. Had to buy a few, though.

 

Quiet in here recently. Thought I'd say just how great Symmetra is. Never gave her a chance before, but fuck me that beam at full charge! Also, her shield barrier Ult is incredible.

 

Yeah she's currently my second pick for this season. I personally enjoy playing her on payload offence and just clearing the payload by charging in there with the team and my beam after throwing a shield. Also love it on defence when I get a teleporter within 10 seconds by rigging up the exit. Weird how many teams fall for that shit in gold.

 

Yeah I love experimenting with her on modes other than objective defence. A good Sym on attack is absolutely awesome, so difficult to deal with. A shame teammates often go crazy for picking an off meta hero... So many just throw, got to be super careful I find.
