You could be right, I haven't read anything. I just know all other event skins go away after the event.
I think some of the things included in the loot boxes are sticking around and some aren't? That's the impression I've been under. I thought they were all staying but the description in their tweet definitely made it sound like they were going away so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
yeah i thought they would be too, i coulda swore jeff said that but it seems like only a handful of stuff is permanent. theres some big backlash on the forums and I understand that. the skins and stuff are great, the new maps are cool, all that stuff but there isnt really an "event" going on and i can see how thats peeved some people.
Sombra, Orisa, and Reaper got some permanent emotes and stuff but other than that looks like everything else will be removed
Oh right, they didn't actually release an event. I was so focused on the new shiny skins/emotes I glossed over that fact. Oh well. That's a bummer, but I'll get over that quickly enough.
got 4 legendary skins in 11 loot boxes. 2 of them were regular ones tho (Industrial Zarya, Horus Ana). the other two were Oasis Symmetra and Cyberian Zarya. if i buy anniversary boxes, i want anniversary stuff. come on blizzard. you don't do this for expansion packs in hearthstone. i don't know how i have such good luck on my xb1 account - which is good cause i play there more anyway lol. on pc i hardly have anything. opened 10 boxes (upgraded to the GOTY edition for only $10 thanks to the sale) and i got a duplicate legendary (ifrit Zenyatta).
I got the Lucio skin on my free loot box and then bought 11 and got the Zarya, Hanzo, and Genji skins. Whoops.
Even though I use Lucio and D.Va a lot, none of the skins this event are really must haves for me. Hm. Saving my gold for the next Mercy skin...
The Uprising event was the first and last event I buy loot crates for. Spending so much money and not getting anything important related to the new event felt awful. I'll be on PS4 soon: CodysThatGood.
I got the D Va skin and the Soldier skin. Still want Tracer's. And I of course used all my coins on Lucio's
