Yeah I'm usually not one to be a stickler on who we have on dps since idk if it's just because I'm in gold or what but it seems like everyone knows what their doing in my games usually. Every now and then I'll get a Widow and Hanzo DPS or torb as our sole dps/defender and then like 3 tanks and 2 supports.

On the opposite end I also get people that clearly only read tier lists and will absolutely tear into people for picking certain heroes even if they're doing really well with those heroes. I had one guy who was adamant I switch to Mercy so we could do PharrMercy but I told him that I was bringing more utility as Ana and we also had a Zen so we were doing fine on heals and pushing. He lost his fucking mind and decided to throw but we still ended up winning once he realized that we were in fact doing quite well

 

If someone goes attack Widow i'll check their career profile. If they have like hours on Widow in comp versus minutes I wont say anything and see how it goes. Sometimes it's rad. But, what I REALLY hate is ppl who play comp and have no desire or willingness to switch if it's not working as a whole. There's a mode called quick play for mentalities like that.

 

me: wants to grind up to diamond because the sweet brag for me

also me: plays two games of comp in platinum and realizes it's not worth the time

 

i love in HoTS when D.Va sees Lucio she says "Lucio! hows my favorite international DJ?" and then he responds with "I play a lot of music, but youre still my favorite Song" :') at first I was like "aww thats cute" and then i was like "WAIT DVAS REAL NAME IS HANA SONG" and im still shook.

also, pertaining to actual game news, looks like the event is set to launch at 11 am EST tomorrow. looks like a german site for like xbox events or something leaked when the event started in europe and people have since figured out when it starts for everyone else. so, cool if true!

 

I guess the pro scene is getting a minor league?

Grinded out HOTS and went 50/50. Weird considering I had no idea what I was doing, and was pretty drunk for 6 of them.

 

Currently playing HoTS with lightning and we just had an embarrassingly funny end to a game

 

cant believe there wasnt a leak! normally we'd have some blurry pictures or a trailer from China or something that revealed everything. nice job Blizzard.

also papa jeff confirmed on the forums that more skins are coming than just the ones teased. hanzo and symm are getting new legos

 

So excited for this event, definitely buying some loot boxes to celebrate it, hopefully get that new Zarya skin as well as some new emotes for characters.
