The Sombra ARG was hilarious in the sense that grown ass people acted like children over a free character not being revealed in the way they wanted it. Other great memories: The moment I figured out how to be effective as Lúcio early on in the game. The moment I fell in love with the memes (Dad: 76, gremlin D.Va) Being excited for the Halloween event and getting the Thriller Solider 76 skin I really wanted. Watching the World Cup and being in awe of the level of skill on display, especially from the South Korea team.
Jeff Kaplan: we love the fanart and the characters you all choose to ship Also Jeff Kaplan: Overwatch was a mistake
Remember when Widowmakers butt would grow like 3 times bigger when she used her ult. That was real weird
It turned out, the world really could use more heroes: A thought on Overwatch's success • r/Overwatch I guess the world really could use more heroes :,)
Yeah it was brief but her butt would get bigger for some reason. There's videos of it on YT (and some NSFW ones be warned)
Lucioball was so much more fun when I knew how to properly hit the ball. I went for so many trick shots and only pulled off like 2 I think haha.
IMGUR changed their embed code it looks like to do some weird javascript stuff now. I'll disable it until I have time to look at it again.
Some PC Comp venting... Defending on Volskaya. Get blown through first point and second point. Lose second points with 5:20 left. Morale is low. Our turn to attack, and somehow, we do the same thing! Though we had like 5:05 remaining after capping point B. Either way, psyched. We are defending for OT. Our Rein sounds young, he's been okay though. Kid goes "Here we go!!!!" with 5 seconds until game starts, and charges himself OFF THE MAP. We lose our main block at the choke, get blown by, and lose the game. Holy shit I was so pissed. Got our entire team, and the other team to report him.
I always get the Idiot Reins that charge off cliffs or charge in alone and then get mad at me because I could heal them fast enough. My dude I'm playing Ana if I can't see you I can't heal you
Anyone can hold up the shield, which sometimes is just fine. A good Rein has patience for when to swing, charge, and ult.
Rein is one of those characters that I've just accepted is not for me, I've tried and tried and will never be good with him. Props to anyone who is
Yeah Rein definitely has complexity and requires skill to figure out when to be aggressive and when to hold back but I feel like I just get the ones that charge in while everyone else is respawning and then gets mad at us for not backing him.
Ana's been an absolute joy to learn such a high skill cap but so very rewarding. Her and Lucio have been my go-to in comp and they've both been a pleasure to play and learn and rank up with.
