Someone with more background knowledge than me fill me in- Why does McCree have a stun grenade thing? What's that gotta do with a cowboy?
All of the support characters in that game are very unique. Besides a few of the obvious,it's not that similar. Besides I already explained in the video games thread why it's different but here are a few things. - free to play - purchasing items during the match - every character has 5 abilities - you can level up characters as well as yourself, and you get loot boxes and currency for doing so - you can make card decks called loadouts to enhance abilities, you choose one before the match starts - a legendary card you can pick out of 3 at the beginning of the game, that's like a super buff - weekly quests - mounts - you can completely customize your character (hair, body, weapon)
I can tell you haven't played lol. I have, so I felt the need to clarify before more people jump to conclusions.
They tweak based on how many people play the character, not on utility or playability. They won't change anyone that's in the meta already.
one of the custom games in arcade right now is harambe vs zookeepers. It's Winston versus Ana teams. Amazing.
I just played a custom game with no cool downs and speed at max speed and that was insane. Zenyatta was OP tbh.
I have like 9k coins now and Im just saving them for a special event skin I dont end up getting in a loot box
I should probably start doing that, but I've had zero self control. I now have a legendary skin for each hero I actually use, only because I unlocked about a third of them myself.
Friend of mine showed us a screenshot of his coins, its at like 21K, he said he's saving them to get all the special event Mercy stuff as they come out, its insane.
I only play tank characters and I've been lucky enough to get skins through loot boxes so no need to use credits.
I think I have like 20000 coins and maxed out golden gun points. I just never spend, nothing is ever a must have for me. Meh.
The most I've been able to hold onto at one time is 3000. I pretty much only did that in anticipation for the Lunar New Year event. My anticipation was to get a new Mei skin, but I ended up with D.va skin because of course I had to get it as a D.va main. Sadly I ended up getting it in a loot box too. <_<
Went 7-2-1 in my placements, and ended up at a lower skill rating than the one I was at last season...how does that even make sense? I mean I barely played last season but I was platinum, and it put me into gold. In other news I'm a Bastion main now ;)
I'm actually glad placement matches in Overwatch are so much easier than Smite. The people over there take ranked way to serious.
