Now that I'm playing a lot again, I'm going to be reaching level 100 pretty soon. I want to plan it around the next holiday event, are we assuming its going to be Valentine's Day based on the timeline of every two months so far?
Didn't they change the way prestige works? XP needed to level 101-120 the same as all other levels now (with that amount being reduced).
Yeah, everyone assumes Valentine's will have something. Might not be as much as what we've recently had. As for leveling up, yeah after you hit like level 20 or whatever, it will always be 20k to level up, even after you prestige. I got to enjoy that quick leveling up twice before they ended that.
had a 12 kill streak with D Va last night when I was playing with @lightning13 so of course I proceed to do the heart emote thingy on the point. It was glorious.
I've been trying to spray the ground/wall after every moment where I think I got play of the game, its working out nicely
My friend started doing it in comp since he often gets potg when we play. I still never remember, though as a support main, I only get potg accidentally.
Overwatch: Roadhog hook feels unfair for everyone, Sombra will never be a “vicious assassin”, and other Blizzard comments on the latest PTR changes why blizzard gotta nerf d va
Yeah, nerfing DVA is the weird move. Her last buff was a surprise, but even then I never felt like she was all powerful. Like going up against a DVA is less annoying to me than a Roadhog who can hook me through 2 walls despite me not having any fucking clue how he saw me in the first place.
I'm glad no one in lower tiers uses Ana effectively. Lol I'm worried to finish my placements because I'm doing so well. I know I'm going to hot a wall the second i get placed. Those 40+ kill rounds with dva won't last.
Had some good rounds with a buddy last night. Doubled my kill average with Tracer on a payload map -- the games where the other team just seems to ignore me zipping around are always funny to me. I took out a Junkrat, McCree, Widowmaker, and Zarya in one fell swoop without any of them as much as turning around. Some good D.Va rounds, too. If I've got the right team I feel almost unstoppable with her. Still getting used to playing Mercy, but starting to like her a lot. Actually playing a support character makes me realize just how valuable they actually are and I feel like we do leaps and bounds better than when we get stuck with a team that refuses to pick a healer.
I'm on such a rotten losing streak at the moment. Over 2 nights of competitive I've had a record of 3 wins and 12 losses, losing 200 SR in the process... I managed to climb from 1700 SR to 2200 SR last week, and it feels as though I am now being punished for having such a good run. I keep getting put on teams that are significantly lower than the opposing team's average SR. All 7 games I played last night I was placed on teams with 1700 - 1800 SR up against teams with 1900 - 2000 SR. I'm really not surprised I can't get a win if the odds are continually stacked in the opposing team's favour in terms of ranking :( Quite annoyed I've undone so much good work as I'm targeting platinum before the end of the season!
On a more positive note... I thoroughly enjoyed this moment during said losing streak LET ME SHOW YOU HOW IT'S DONE!!! • /r/Overwatch
I play on PC but got a ps4 for xmas, grabbed a used copy to play with some friends and holy shit, ps4 players are so bad compared to PC. I play with a controller on PC, 4 quad kills in one game as solider, 5 golds, and 65 percent elims. Dear lord.
