I just realized thanks to my brother that the Mei arcade game is a play on CSGO and I was like whoaaaa.

 

Got Scrooge McCree and Andes Lucio.

Really want the Pharah and Reaper skins. AND THE WIDOWMAKER INTRO.

 

Got Sombra skin, Winston skin, D Va voice line, Mercy victory pose, Zarya skin, and Reaper skin tonight

Just need Widow intro, D Va pose, and Zarya emote and I'll be happy

 

oh i finally got the Sombra player icon!! Icons are the only things you can't buy and there are so many of them, so I feel really lucky.

I think the D.Va and Mercy victory poses might be the only things I really want, and I'm 90 currency away from being able to unlock both of them. All the skins, I'm kind of just "eh, that's nice." Nothing "must have" like Witch Mercy that I'd drop money for. (The Widow intro is amazing, but I never use her.)

 

More Junkrat and Roadhog meta

 

Dude on my team in competitive played symmetra, ended up with gold elims. New meta is gonna be great.

 

Only want the zen and lucio skins.

 

I had a match on Volskya Insustries where both teams captured both points. So we go to OT (Round 3/4) and once again both teams capture both points. Then that sends us to another OT (Round 5/6) where neither team captures anything. So 6 rounds for a draw...

I didn't even know it could go past 4 rounds.

 

Spent $20 on boxes and got Tor and Pharah's skins. Kinda bummed. Did end up getting the Tracer skin with the helmet which is good, I guess.

 

After getting several boxes of only a single blue, I just got a box with three purples, none of which were winter items, but one was a currency drop (150), so I pretty much got what I wanted out of this event haha.

 

Bought some loot boxes last night. Got most of what I wanted (Tracer, Mei, Lucio, Zen, Pharah, McRee). Have enough to also pick up a couple of the epic skins (Reaper and Sombra) and the Widowmaker intro, but I'm going to see if I just pull it from any loot boxes I earn between now and the end of the event and buy what I don't get at the end.

 

I'm hoping to at least grind out 30-40 loot boxes during this event and then near the end just buy 10.

I've currently got 5 boxes so far thanks to the arcade.

 

It's comical how bad people are in the mystery games.

 

Still no winter skins, but I did get Mei's emote.

 

I was just thinking that last night. Took me three hours to get the loot boxes for winning each game

 

That Winston skin is the best Winston skin holy shit. The jumppacks look so good and he looks mean as fuck.

I love that the Reaper skin is both kind of badass and kind of goofy, perfect for the Edgelord himself. The "from Junkrat" sticker on Roadhogs gun is the cutest fucking thing.

Damn I love this game and this event.

 

This seems to be the norm now unfortunately. I've had more connection issues with this game than anything else I've been playing recently.

 

Are the drop rates supposed to be any better during the event? ~7/10 of my boxes have been three silvers and a single blue.
