"Grayson: You guys ran a months-long ARG in advance of Sombra’s big reveal. I think by the end a lot of people were pretty fed up. It certainly seemed that way on Reddit and your forums. Was there ever a point where you were like, “Maybe we should release her sooner” or “What if we concluded the ARG sooner”?

Goodman: No. But we were definitely taking the feedback. I think it was fair, the feedback. We’re not very good at ARGs. We’ve never done one before. This is our first attempt at it, and I think we definitely learned a lot from it. Overall, I think it was a huge success. We got to engage the community in a whole new way. We got to show off Sombra in ways that we wouldn’t have otherwise been able to. People get an idea of who she is and a little bit of her personality before we even unveiled her. Which is super cool."

Did Antarctica give you a goldeneye feel? cause it did for me and I love it. that map is a dps/flanker dream.

 

I didn't get a chance to play it. I just LOVE that it is covered in references to The Thing.

 

Oh man sorry didn't mean to rub that in. I only did a few arcade matches there but the layout is pretty different from pretty much every other map. so sweet.

 

I don't know if it's been mentioned but Pharah got a buff to her jump off and everyone is loving it apparently.

 

Ya apparently she can basically fly forever? p cool, she needs some buffs.

 

Not exactly forever, but close enough. You don't have to spend more than a couple of seconds on the ground if you don't want to.

that feeling when you have a perfect ult leading to a quadruple kill only to hear "HEROES NEVER DIE" right after.

 

It would make sense for Sombra to hit live this week before free weekend...right?

 

I'd hope so! I feel so behind the PTR, being a console player.

I'm quite excited, but equally worried that my newly-found Tracer skills are about to get knocked down a peg or two by Sombra and her hacks :/

Just dropping in to say how much I love Tracer. She might be my favorite video game character in recent memory. Drifting into fanboy territory tbh

Pc downloaded a 1gb "pre" patch a few days ago. any day now

 

I'm seriously going to need a harddrive for this game alone.
