Just had a game with McRee where I got the gold in every category but healing. My team was horrible. Ugh.
PC. Need to add the people from the first post of the thread but I think we're all in different time zones anyway.
Here is a list of counters If an objective has a spot that is kinda isolated (like a side room) that people go to heal or rest up, throw down Symetra turrets there or Torbjorn ones. It's funny to see people try and get a respite to only walk into turrets.
Happened yesterday on Numbani (I think that's how it spelt), got pushed into the room by the point actually by accident and obliterated by Torbjorn's turret
So now that I'm over level forty, team quality has dropped like crazy everyone plays whoever they main with, no one budges for the sake of the team. Losing every freaking game.
I'm tossing it up to this being more team oriented, but as a mainly FPS player I feel like my win percentage is awful in Overwatch compared to anything else I've played. It's hard for me to tell if I'm the problem or not since I can't see team stats (that I know of), but I generally end up with some medals at the end of the game. I'm not ignoring objectives and I'm basing character choices off the opponents team, but just go on really long losing streaks. Kind of frustrating but this game is still fun. I'm hoping a ranked playlist will draw most of the full teams soon so playing solo is somewhat more enjoyable when I don't have my friends on.
My win percentage is slowly climbing. My best win % is with D.Va. I am at 69% with her. The character I just can't seem to master is Genji. I really want to be good with him, I have played him the most, but my win % is comically bad. And my individual stats are not any better with him. I am only really an asset to my team when I am a defense or a support character, at this point. I just don't really have the skills yet to be an offensive player.
