Yet another reason to hate Mei

 

I'd be screaming if that happened to me.

 

Healers > Backline > Frontline > Tanks

 

Like let's say their comp is Lucio, Ana, Rein, Zarya, Reaper, Widow

I'd pick Lucio > Ana > Widow > Rein > Zarya > Reaper, because the last two have abilities that can cancel the blast. If I've been paying attention and both abilities are down, it'll go L > A > W > Reap > Zarya > Rein

 

For some reason in the second ranking the first thing I thought of when I read W was wario

Seriously though I love this input. I always foolishly target mei because fuck mei, and she always does her ice house and nulls the ult.

 

I just played a couple of hours of Tracer. I really, really, want to like her. I feel like I spend more time dying than doing anything useful. My shots don't hit, my ults don't stick, and I keep blinking into walls.

 

When I'm tracer my main goal is to distract. I'll zip behind the enemy team, and just shoot at everyone. Rinse repeat.

 

Yeah I play her and Reaper kinda the same way. Way better with Tracer though, and have more fun. I do wish her ult was buffed or changed though. I think it'll happen soon.

 

I love playing as Tracer so much and honestly never feel like using her is just a distraction

 

Yeah that's usually the tanks job. I creep in with her and just finish people off. Same with Reaper. I tend to get carried away, but hey. I need to play with her more but I just usually tank or heal due to shit teams. Anytime I pick up the game anymore I just do offense or defense characters. More refreshing really.

 

But will we get Sombra tomorrow?

Bastion typically sucks in competitive but they managed to use a Zarya / Symmetra competitive to let the Bastion go beast mode with all the shields and it was fun to watch.

Just so you know you can drop your sticky on her ice block while she's in it, wait til you hear the ice cracking like it's about to expire and she'll blow up once it ends

 

That was definitely my first experience with her. I think I hit some good team comps eventually because unlike let's say reaper, she has some limitations to her flanking ie she won't pick up many kills. however, she'll put the opponents into disarray and then your team stomps in and you blink back to the group and hit them hard.

Last night I played a game on hanamura offense and I was blinking to the point and drawing back at lest three heroes from the front line. However my team never took that chance to charge in and at best I'd get one kill before dying. Also just about any game where the opponent is going hard on bastion or torb will be very difficult for tracer without a good team backing her up .

Don't ever engage someone as Tracer without a charge of blink or rewind ready, unless you're absolutely sure you can finish them off (like they have just 1 health left). She has so little health that she can't afford to get hit at all, your job is is to keep blinking around and through the enemy to disorient them - if you give them 2 seconds, they'll get a good lock on you and you're dead. So every second and a half use a charge of blink, once they're depleted use rewind to undo any poke damage you've taken, and if they're still not dead by the time you get another charge of blink back, use it to get the fuck out of there because you fucked up lol.

I'm really hoping that Sombra is available for testing so I can run circles around all the people trying her out as Tracer lmao, might bruise a couple of egos when the cute girl wrecks them all :D

 

Great advice! I think this is who you're up against. great strategy for any healer and widow. however this could be tricky against junk and maybe reaper and sodier who could one shot you. I kept getting crushed 1v1 by this really good hanzo, just always nailed me but clearly I wasn't blinking enough.
