yeah thats what i meant, all of those people saying they didnt care or werent interested anymore like myself are now all about this new phase of the ARG and have essentially forgotten about the disappointing countdown.

 

I also wonder how this "push a lot of changes into ptr sessions" thing is going to work in general. It seems like when you add so many variables you kinda will lose sight of whether it really helps balance things in the actual live version or just if it's balanced in this weird laboratory of experimental changes, most of which won't even see the live version

This time around I've had a much easier time at getting skins in the loot boxes unlike the Summer Olympics. Buying boxes isn't something I want to do so I just force myself to level up instead. So far I've probably gone up at least 12 levels. My hull is nice with Mercy, Reinhardt, Symmetra, and Pharah's Halloween skins. The other three legendary skins are nice, but I'm wanting Ana's next.

 

I got it in my second loot box. MWAHAHA.

You know, why doesn't blizzard let us share or even trade skins/icons/emotes with friends?

 

you're the second person i've heard mention that this week! I got the reaper skin twice in the boxes i bought. My good friend wants that one, doesn't have it and I really want the Mercy one and he has it.

ugh i've been totally killing it with her lately. this seems like a bit much :/

 

Why nerf Lucio? Dude is fine how he is. If anything, buff his HP slightly since he turns into Swish cheese if he gets caught in a firefight.

 

so i dislike all of these.

I guess I need to pickup DVa tho

 

I wonder if they've noticed certain characters being essential picks for a good team comp (Lucio, Zarya) and are trying to make it so that they aren't 100% essential

I'm getting so good with Tracer now, running circles around everyone and fucking shit up. I have like a 63% winrate with her now.

 

Two Torbs and a Hanzo on attack in one game, then someone compares my username to a porn site in another game, all in an hour full of loss after loss. Fuck this game. I'm done.

The best way to climb out of "MMR hell" and get away from players like that is to play a high-skill dps character that you can carry with. Tracer, Genji, McCree, and Zarya are probably the best for this. The caveat is that if you're not great with these Heroes, you're probably hindering your team more than you're helping. So get practicing!

Edit: Rein is good for carrying if you're duo-ing with an Ana who can stim you, and Pharah is good for carrying if the other team is lacking a McCree and 76.

 

I only play casual, and I'm only good with healers (but not Ana), tanks (but not Rein and Zarya), Mei, and Junkrat. As I keep saying, four golds with Winston is still a loss, so I'm no good at carrying, especially with the heroes I enjoy. Thanks for the advice, though!

 

I feel like in your case maybe start playing more Zenyatta? I mostly play as him and don't necessarily feel like I carry as him but I feel like I have a pretty big influence since I can get kills and also prioritize who gets healing

 

I've been playing him more just because I've used Lucio and Mercy so much, but half the time I'm Zenyatta I feel like I could do more if I was Lucio or Mercy.

 

In the off-chance that we actually need me as an attack hero to fill the role (like, 10% of the time), I can do pretty decently with Soldier, Pharah, and Reaper, in that order, but in no way do I ever feel like I'm carrying, even if I am getting gold in damage and elims. I'm still not very comfortable with Genji and Tracer. I'm shit as McCree.
