Her symbol/logo is included in the Halloween stuff so I wonder if she'll have something from that?

 

As far as Halloween stuff, probably not. I just want the character at this point, there's been so much that's leaked out to where I'll be crestfallen if we don't get anything before Halloween is over.

Wow - thanks for the indepth response! The idea about the reticle sounds really helpful, actually. I'll try that out on my next few games. She's so much fun to play, but sometimes it gets frustrating feeling like I'm just pea-shooting them for no reason (though most of the advice I've been given is that Tracer is more for distraction than elimination).

 

I can believe Zarya hasn't been nerfed. I guess she strikes that perfect balance of being incredibly powerful in the right hands and circumstances but also a totally useless character when played incorrectly.

Looking at the pro competitive scene and the sites above, seems like Lucio Rein and Zarya are the top dogs which makes sense. They all have tools and abilities that are invaluable, and I'd make the argument they're 3 of the most well made characters in the game.

 

She's absolutely not for distraction, whoever is telling you that doesn't know what they're doing lmao. She doesn't do a ton of damage with her rounds like someone like 76, but her ult charges WAY faster, especially when you can find a bigger target like Roadhog to land your shots on. You can get out 2 pulse bombs by the time someone like 76 or Reaper gets their first ult. Tracer does a lot of damage, just in smaller increments. Get really good with sticking her ult.

 

Yeah Tracer is like, the best assasin in the game if played right.

 

She doesn't really need a nerf, she's perfectly balanced. When her shields are on CD (and they have long CDs) she's very easy to take down, she doesn't have a lot of health and no escape. People just don't know when to back off and go back in around her shields.

 

And thanks for yet another good piece of advice! I got most of my advice during/right after beta, so I guess things have been better figured out in the time I've been away from the game, haha. Her ult is great!! I'll definitely work on making better use of it.

Oh yeah as a Zarya main I agree. But the thing with her shield is a good Zarya will Time her shield to when she's being attacked and get that Damage buff. I think that's the big key factor with Zaryas balance. She can be an absolute monster when played right.

 

I wish I could get gud with Zarya.

Playing her for like 2 weeks straight have caused me to improve dramatically.

 

I always switch to her to give it a shot and just go, "ya know, I might actually get kills if I just play D Va."

 

I'm that way with Winston. I'll switch to him just because I hear and see so many good things about him, but then I'm like "nah I'll just play my girl Zarya"

Mei has been one of my go to characters lately. her.

 

I used to play the crap out of her, but eventually switched out for others. Been trying to play her more again.

 

I've played Mei like 30 minutes and I've never actually played Ana yet.

 

My roommate gets so mad at me when I play Ana. I'm terrible at switching between offense and healing with her. It's so much easier for me to jump between roles with Zenyatta.

I wonder if we get an update with Sombra tomorrow.

 

I got irrationally angry on Saturday playing as Ana because I was preparing to Nano Boost D. Va and as I hit the button Mercy flew in front of me, therefore causing me to Nano Boost Mercy and I still hate everything.
