I could see her taking Symmetra's Support role and Symmetra going to Defense, at least that's what I'd like to see.
I really don't think they'll put her in support if they're taking Symmetra out, cause she's not gonna heal, and that's why they're taking Symm out
I'm so damn close to rank 100 so I can get faster loot boxes Quick question: Does your rank automatically reset when you get to 100 or do you have to do something to reset it? Need to know if there's a certain time I should stop before release haha
Someone correct me if I'm wrong (I think I'm right about this) but once rank resets you gain exp at the same rate you did before at that rank right? Like getting from rank 1-2 after reset takes the same exp as before reset so you get boxes faster. That's what I've heard but yeah I haven't reset either so I've just gone off hearsay
I don't know if I've posted it here or it was just a private message to @lightning13 but the way Blizzard has handled updates to this game has been so bad. I know Blizzard wants to make this a huge esport game but the amount of hero choices is so little. There is like 12 gods in the meta and the rest are basically ignored. In like a game like smite or LoL there are plenty of gods/champion selections so there is a constant new meta in each season. I understand Blizzard is all about quality control but compared to most other MOBA esque games, they feel really behind. I mean it's been like what 4 months since Sombra was first teased and we still have nothing. In Smite in that same time span, we have had like 3 or 4 new gods and the meta changed a lot. It also sucks when the loot system is so bad compared to others. I'm going to keep going back to this but in Smite, once you get a skin you will never see it again. In overwatch the grind to level up only to get 3 duplicates just sucks so much. It basically killed my want to keep playing. I'll most likely jump back in for Halloween event just for the cool new skins.
To be fair, I'd rather the company take their time than to just rush things out. Blizzard wouldn't be who they are if they just threw a bunch of things in without taking the time to make sure it's balanced and works correctly. That's quality and few companies have that reputation for it like Blizzard does. It's also worth noting that this is an entirely different venture for Blizzard compared to their RPG/RTS past, it's going to take a little time for them to get things right and they're trying at that. The move to redesign Symmetra is a start towards making the game more competitive and I think that's a great thing, as I also agree that the competitive scene needs to utilize more heroes than the current meta. The loot system could use some work too, hopefully we see a change as time goes on but one that's balanced too. I don't want it to be easier to get legendary skins or loot but it shouldn't be once in a blue moon either. Overall, I'll keep playing it because I genuinely enjoy the game very much and it's probably the first game in a long time that has demanded my attention to where I'm playing it almost every day. There's still time for it to grow and become that next juggernaut in competitive esports. There's also nothing wrong with being dissatisfied with how Blizzard has been handling the game, there's valid criticism to be had and it's more than fair to call them out for it. It's growing pains in the end, LoL or DOTA weren't what they are now from the start and neither will Overwatch, it'll take time but I have faith that it'll be a better product in the time to come. Or maybe it won't, we'll have to see.
Completely different beasts, it's more akin to TF2 than a MOBA. Completely disagree wth you on pretty much all points. The meta will evolve with more heroes, but you don't need as many for a FPS where you can hero swap.
Currently done 7/10 placement matches, 4w/3l. Did really well as junkrat in my last game with a victory. got two double kills with the ult, and was on fire for the last minute. Was defense on Route 66. I definitely still have him as a favorite.
