By the time it comes out, I won't gaf.

 

I just had the most infuriating competitive match ever. My team was comprised of 2 people trying and 4 others who either stumbled into competitive by mistake or are just the biggest fucking idiots ever. For some reason they felt a Symmetra was needed on Capture the Point. And I never saw her. She never stepped on the point. Not once. Then we had a Hanzo, which is always stupid, and yet, by the grace of me and this other player who tried, we managed to get it to go 2-2. Then my team just decided they didn;t care anymore and we had a symmetra, hanzo, and a fucking Ana. That's just the worst.

I stopped bothering on the last round because it was obvious there was no point. I still had 4 gold medals and nearly everyone voting for me. I think the other team voted for me out of sympathy.

The only saving grace was that I barely dropped at all in ranking. Still trying to fix it and overall solo queuing hasn't been too bad.

 

So my big things is that I ALWAYS brute force the point with D.Va. I know I'm using her in a somewhat incorrect capacity, but it never seems like anyone ever capitalizes on what I'm doing. When they do, we win in record times. Most of the time, people can't make it out the damn door.

 

You're not the only one who does that. @thesinkingship likes to do it when we play to some success. I've done it in competitive to some success, it's gotten my team to break out of the tentative spawn area fight and move forward on like Kings row.

 

Yeah I like flanking and blitzing the point just because it can really distract and implode attempts to choke while they scramble to get back to the point

 

I had a game where I snuck around (somehow) as DVA and took the first point before the other team got back. I was really confused how the entire team allowed that to happen.

 

Yeah I've done that at Numbani before with D.Va. The other team just wasn't paying attention to the back entrance at all

 

I miss this game. I hope the next update is big and I'll get back into it for at least a month or so til FFXV is out. I really only have time/patience to play one game at a time anymore lol.

 

It's happened to me a handful of times. I'm really good with sustainability as D.Va. As long as they don't have a Zarya or Mei, I can generally put a beat down on everyone. lol

 

I feel like playing Heroes of the Storm has really changed the way I think about Overwatch, with its strong emphasis on not dying and how important roles are to a team. It's interesting
