Just revisited this, it definitely brings me back. Need some Park and Staring Back represses.

I just listened to Silverstrand last week. I must’ve seen them live a dozen times from 2005-2006. I really miss that band :/

Every time I see this band's name, I'm reminded of Runner Runner, and the fact that Ryan Ogren has turned into one of pop music's best writer/producers.

every time i see runner runner i think of jon berry's sweet bass lines being wasted on such a run of the mill pop rock band, they were so awful. didn't know any of em were still in the industry though!

Yeah Ryan and Nick seem to have had the most success. Their discography is pretty impressive if you ever feel like looking it up.

Runner Runner was one of my favorite bands when they were active. Their music was pretty catchy.

Love this post. Staring Back I've probably not listened to in 20 years.

Timing is Everything is stupendous and so underrated in this scene. Still holds up today. I don't often feel that any bands that didn't get bigger truly should have, but in this case Silverstrand was worthy of a bit more support.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it

Step Outside Yourself was the rare gem of the major label transition, especially for the time when so many other bands flopped. Shame they didn't blow up after that
