Just finished episode 6. Goddamn this show is just in another world of crazy hahah

I called that Ward was gonna do that, but they couldn’t go with the simple shooting himself, nope dude had to go and blow up the entire boat. There was a reason though and I can’t figure out what it is. He seemed to be realizing something while in the bedroom looking at the painting and such. Something to do with the gold maybe?

 

This season was awesome. I loved that it focused on John B just a liiiittle bit less and on Pope just a liiiiittle bit more. I’m here for Topper redemption arc. Kiara with a headband is a fucking VIBE. I feel like they’re really starting to find their footing with JJ’s character.

It’s just you IMO. They show every hot person (literally the entire cast, minus Rafe’s middle part, doing hot things).

 

i expect the dumb so it doesn’t bother me but I do think the dialogue this season is much worse than in season 1 haha

 

I love how they conveniently ran into Cleo twice. Girl was their guardian angel.

 

Yes. And I feel like they only called him “John B” in this season where there was a few times in the first season someone would refer to him as just John

 

Wait….after all that they don’t get the gold or the cross?! Come on man. What the fucccck.

 

At least the last twist was good. But come on!

 

I have a theory about the cloth from the cross. So if the show really does have the clothe show up and have it heal people similar to how Jesus’ cloth could heal people after touching it, then maybe the cloth is John’s bandanna that his father gave him. When John’s bandanna touches Sarah when she is dying she starts to breath again and when they wrap the bandanna around John’s leg after the gator bite it’s like his leg is magically healed the next episode lol.

Hahaha I swore I thought one of the older characters in season 1 referred to him a John here and there. It’s soooooo funny/dumb the whole John B thing

It has just enough treasure hunting aspects that I can forgive all the teen drama packaged with it. Plus I know an actor from the show and it’s nice seeing him in a show like this.

 

Forgot to mention it, but I read the prequel novel a few weeks ago that takes place before season one. It was alright, mostly just focused on John B and JJ, but it was an easy read and was probably 2 episodes worth of story.

Watched the first 3 episodes. You can tell the stakes are higher than previous seasons, which is good, but episode 3 was a snore.
