    BUY: Out of Service - Morning

    Morning is the debut full length from alternative rock band Out of Service, and the follow up to their 2017 EP release "What We Bring With Us" (available on all streaming / bandcamp). This record was produced, mixed, and mastered by Nathan Hussey (All Get Out) and self recorded by the band themselves. It is a dynamic record for fans of Manchester Orchestra, Emery, and just energetic, passionate music in general. Lead vocalist Mike Capuano showcases his best vocal performance yet on this record, as he belts out hooks that will easily become stuck in your head even after the first listen. The towering crescendos of guitar work will leave you itching for repeated listens, upon which the record will only get better and better.

    Enjoy folks, lots of us have been waiting to hear this one for a while.

    Huge thank you to anyone who checks this out! It means more than you'll ever know. I'll be posting content related things in here but am going to try to lay low in the discussions about the album.. unless someone has questions for me of course! :) Thanks again, and hope everyone enjoys the record!

    @teebs41
    What were your biggest inspirations in terms of bands/albums while writing the album?

    Manchester Orchestra, Hotelier, Oso Oso (more with the warm guitar tones than anything, at least I tried) Thrice, Jimmy Eat World, probably a little Dashboard...a lot of the music we talk about on this site to be honest.

    Oh, Twin Peaks Theme too..half joking.. although I was binge watching the series while we were tracking the guitars and somehow it seeped in there haha.

    Really like the artwork on it btw a lot.

    I'm still all about The Escape well that and blindly accepting broken glass is quite the one two punch in the middle of the album which is nice.

    Honestly Mike is a lot better at describing lyrics than I am, and we have a track by track with new noise magazine that I'm going to be posting in here tomorrow morning! I think you'll enjoy that a lot.

    Musically, I really just wanted to try to do this midtempo rock song that went really hard on the choruses haha. The chorus guitar riff was literally the last thing recorded for the entire album. Also I wanted that end to really groove, was listening to a lot of After Laughter by Paramore and loved how they used syncopation.
