Great alt rock band that premiered their EP on AP back in 2015. Here is a link to their EP until they drop their first single from their debut lp!

Here is the first single from the record

first listen I was underwhelmed but than I played it again with headphones and liking it more.. Here's my issues. the vocals are very samey. where are the diverse melodic lines from the EP? This was way heavier than I expected.. hoping that this song is one of the heaviest on the record. I wonder if @Zac Djamoos will get a review advance. I think the guitar work is really cool on the song, and love the instrumentals. My expectations for the record have tempered but I still am anticipating it a good amount.

I skipped around the YouTube video and listened to the third single and I’m actually really excited for this again. Why isn’t this on streaming though? The only way to listen to it is through a really poor quality YouTube video.

    u wut m8?

It's up on bandcamp now. I've been listening to it for the past few days. It is awesome. I can't wait until the vinyl arrives and I can listen and read the lyrics. All the songs from their EP are on here but reworked or extended in various ways. XI is song 10 on the record and now called "an introspect divide" and it now over 8 minutes long. III is song 3 on the record and now called "the depths of mausoleums treaded". V is song 5 on the record and now called "martyred" and VII is now called "the writhing heart" and is track 6.

    funeral pyre, by ourfathers.

Hmm these reworks of the old songs sound rough. Almost doesn’t sound like the same band. What happened to the drums

Album - Nuoro - In the Hills (August 24, 2018)

This is the new project of Miles Lehman, the former keyboard player/co-vocalist of Ourfathers who left after the EP. It also features former members of Dance Gavin Dance and Consider the Thief. Fantastic indie rock/emo for fans of Happy Body Slow Brain and As Tall As Lions!
