Shady Existence, Linger, Indian Burn, Tuesday Morning... that whole record is great but the production is admittedly terrible and keeps me from listening often
i also think that oso is a very logical jump from state lines in so much they barely feel like different bands
that's off the second one or on the EP? I'll get to both today probably though yeah, honestly it just feels like Jade refined his songwriting and got better on guitar more than he decided to cultivate different influences or anything. the Oso stuff has better sense of melody tho for sure
lol i still have super early osoosooso demos because i was pals with the label owner at the time, from before the project was even announced
I didn't end up listening to it even though I had it downloaded for the longest, but I'm liking SL so I'll check it. why'd they break up? when is this from? I'm assuming it's a b side?
the closer on real monsters is one of his best songs and maybe it's kind of tired but uh actually it's not
I think a band member or two had other priorities so Jade formed another band instead?? Something along those (state) lines
new song is cool bc it's def like two songs in one, love it, esp that really syncopated bridge type thing. hell yeah drop another one on me Jade
