Absolutely love this. He’s trying so many cool things here, feels way more expansive than Basking to me.
First listen was good but I was driving so not really able to focus. Second listen is way better thus far.
I don’t connect with this as much as The Yunahon Mixtape and Basking in the Glow on first listen, but I am liking what I’m hearing.
Yeah I like this. Went through the album once, listened to father tracy and because i want to 2 times each.
First listen was nice. I was wondering why the vocal melodies felt so soupy (for lack of a better work) and comparatively unrefined next to Basking but after reading about the backstory of the album and how these are basically demos it makes sense. Either way this is probably his most interesting stuff musically speaking so far, really cool
Halfway through it I realized I had the album on shuffle :( Restarting now, but so far I really love this.
70 and sunny today, and even though i played this repeatedly on VPN yesterday I will be doing it once again
Yeah it’s this way on Apple Music too. My guess is some kind of bonus track that wasn’t supposed to be uploaded and got removed.
This is good, but not great on my first listen. Not much stood out to me to be perfectly honest. Their records have always been growers so I'm sure I'll enjoy it more on later listens.
How Death, Drugs, Gambling, & Nerf Gun Fights Fueled Oso Oso's New Surprise Album 'sore thumb' “Lilitri will be the first to tell you that “Nothing Says Love Like Rehydration,” stashed deep into the album’s back half, is not a particularly great song. He’s not even sure if it’s a good song — he initially wrote it as a belated Christmas gift for his father, inspired by an industrial strength hangover at his parents’ house during the 2020 holidays. “The only thing I really questioned is whether I should leave off ‘the Gatorade song,’ because I feel like that’s gonna be a miss,” he jokes. “ Love this quote lol
